Thank you, Silverstream!
Name: Ace
Do you honor?: No
Age: 48 moons (3 years)
Gender: She-cat
Appearance: Ace has a sleek jet-black short-haired coat while white taints her from her underbelly up until her forehead. The she-cat also has her right fore paw covered in white, as well as the tip of her tail, while old scars rest upon her back showing signs of battles she had been force to get into. Paws usually covered in dust and dirt, she tries to keep herself clean as well as being tidy. Her tail is quite long, every now and then used as a balance to help her with jumping. At the same time she's a bit large, long legs sustaining the weight of her body. Whiskers stretch over her mouth, being a bit short they are only a few inches from passing her cheeks. Her ears aren't too small nor big but her left one had been bitten and it had been able to recover with time. Her nose is tiny and pink, a delicate structure on her snout. Large, wide golden eyes shine with kindness, practically never getting dull, but at the same time they seem to hide secrets.
RP Example: Stray rays of sunlight found their ways between the trees as silence engulfed the undergrowth. Ace quietly gazed at the gray animal, her breath was hitched as she watched her prey silently gather seeds, unknown to it's senses that it was being stalked. Carefully she slipped behind another bush, now only a tail-length away from the mouse. Crouched in position she readied herself for the kill feeling her stomach growl louder every passing second. Just when she was about to pounce on her prize a rumbling noise disturbed the forest, scaring away the mouse.
The she-cat gave a heaved sigh as she looked up from the clearing where her prey had been. Now, four 'Two-legs'stood not too far away, digging up dirt and soil as they came close with each step they took. Jumping on all fours, Ace started to make her walk back to the farm seeing that these 'Two-legs' were only here to make more land of what's left of the forest. As she arrived she slightly opened her jaws, already sensing the fat scrumptious mice behind the walls of the barn yet it seemed different. She had been planning on catching one in the forest as she waited for a certain cat to come but he never arrived, much to her dismay.
Quietly entering what she calls 'home', her ears flicked at the sound of rustling, possibly another animal since the scent was damp and the odor was of dew. "I will not hurt those who pass these doors and enter this farm, if someone is truly there speak up before anymore trouble is weighted upon your shoulders.." her voice broke through the silence of little squeaking and small rustles as Ace made a slight bow toward the darkness as a greeting. She earned no response and decided to shake it off, she had probably been too much under the sunlight and must have been imagining it all. She sat up on some hay which was tied up and seemed to be a type of rectangular the Two legs had made. Ace stared out into the horizon at the forest that seemed to be burning as the sun's rays finally retreated into the hills. It seemed beautiful, as the night took the day's place and quietly started to paint groups of stars across the sky. But her memories of her past intruded her once more, and quietly she let out a whisper, "In the beginning, a story emerges at the end. A never-ending mystery repeats itself over and over, a danger never to be stopped nor retained", her words echoed through the building as she layed her head upon her paws and drifted into a deep slumber.
Clan: N/A
Rank: Loner
Breed: Unknown
Personality: Ace's personality is quite complicated if you were to try and understand it. She's mostly one of solitude and silence, sometimes speaking words that may make no sense to certain people. If one is to understand her they must understand what she means, usually something that must be looked over, like a problem that needs a solution. Not only is she quiet most of the time but she's also someone to be uncertain with, usually because of the awkward silence surrounding her. At times she may show gratitude and kindness or she will stay quiet until she thinks it's the right time to speak up. To put it simple, she isn't one who is social and is surrounded by a certain aura of mystery. Even though her scars show that she had been in fights she is actually very kind if you get to know her, or if she ever actually speaks to you. But with all the choices given she always decides to stay somewhere quiet so nothing can disturb her but that doesn't mean she hates company, she just likes thinking of her never-ending questions crossing her mind. Even with all the questions asked, every mystery or every solution made of her, it's complicated to find her purpose and the meanings to her words.
History: It started one night when there was a fire in a forest, engulfing the trees and everything along it's way. Quickly being thrown into a shallow river by her parents to rescue her along with her siblings, was Ace able to survive. But at the same time she had lost her memory under amnesia from probably being so shocked. She wasn't a young kit and was able to survive in the forests a few days before suffering starvation. Finding a Two legs house close by she passed through the fence and to her luck there were two bowls full of food pellets.
It tasted terrible but was the only food available to survive at the moment so she quickly ate them while also drinking some milk close by. She decided to head west before coming across a barn where she met cat rogues claiming it their farm as they unsheathed their claws. Had it not been for a tom close by listening to this, Ace would have been a quick kill for the rogues. Quickly the tom was able to defeat the first two rogues with only a few scratches and soon the cats retreated into the forest. The tom nodded toward the kit as she thanked him, he also talked a bit with Ace.
When the tom asked her about her name and her parents she replied with silence before saying that she could not remember. The tom smiled and looked into the horizon before stating that she was one, a single kit left to face the world like an ace on a die left to face the solitude of loneliness, and before the kit could ask what a die was the tom gladly spoke the name 'ace' again. That's when he threw a mouse he had caught earlier, or so it seems, into the kit's paws, who ate every possible piece of her food. A few days passed and the tom had taught the kit how to hunt mouse out in the forest, know which flowers were poisonous, a few helpful cures and every possible technique to find shelter if she ever wanted to join the 'clans' close by or to keep on her journey going west where more forests layed. Ace had found out that these 'clans' close by were groups of cats that lived in certain areas, staying out of their territories helped cause less trouble.
Finally he said that he must travel on but he never said why, he also stated that she should think more over the things that have happened, over life, over memory, over many things. Why had he said this, Ace will never know but quickly she asked, right before one of the tom's paw were place on the grass, what was a ace and a die. The tom froze in place and said that a 'die' is a type of item humans use for many games, where dots are placed on each square and on a square layed only one dot called a 'ace' left to face the square's emptiness, no other dot to accompany it. He then quickly disappeared into the forests shadows before the kit could stop him. After thinking it over it hit her, this 'ace' seemed like her being forced to survive with no one else to help her, and this 'die' seems like the world she must face.
Thus, she adopted the name, 'Ace' and she had decided to stay around the barn, soon it was known as her 'home'. But she was gotten into fights, the cat rogues that had been there the first day came back now and then making her weaker each day. Without practically no hope she decided to do what she had been told to by the tom, she thought over the recent battle, the cats, her wounds, every possible thing that had damaged her these last few days. They will repeat their fights, seeming never-ending until her death, when she thought about their weapons. 'To cast a wound across my coat, claws will taint with blood, sure of their granted win will they only become closer to their death..' these words repeated in her mind as she set out to the forest.
The next day when the cats came she didn't fight back, only made sure that every possible rogue that was fighting her then would cut across her back with their nails. After checking that they had all cut across her back and before she could die she quickly slashed out much to the cats surprise and ran back to her little place in the barn which meant having to climb a very old, breakable ladder, and to her luck the rogues hadn't learned how to climb a ladder, and even if they could it might have broken under their weight. When the rogues finally left back into the forest by sunset she sighed lightly, making sure they had all left. Quietly, she passed her time making sure not to move only if she needed a drink, which wasn't too far away, and the food was bountiful. And as she had thought, the rogues hadn't come back and were most probably dead.
The day before she gathered a type of poisonous plant, able to kill animals if it isn't cured in a day or two, at the same time she gathered snake-roots which was luckily a plant she was taught that was helpful to counter poison. Carefully she ate the poison plants, not eating nor drinking so her system won't be strong enough to stop the poison from circulating in her blood and after the attack she used the snake-roots to take out the venom. She knew that they cleaned the blood off their claws and paws taking in the poison within the liquid, thus finding their own death. The words that have first crossed her mind passed again, this time with a more triumphant feeling. Yet, the scars on her back took time to heal and finally she was feeling better, but what had caught her was that after thinking over a matter was she able to escape her foretold death. Quietly, each day she thought over things, more and more, and with practically no company did she gain her new personality. Yet, she will never forget the tom that had saved her that day.
