Display name: Spiderbreath.
Characters: Spiderbreath (accepted) ; Soul (accepted).
RP example:
A rustle of leaves. The flash of movement of some dark shape behind a bush. The sharp snap of a broken branch.
Off the mouse went. Cursing silently to itself, a creature exited the brambles in a wild leap, claws unsheathed and ready. The small, lithe animal chased the prey through the trees, strong paws tearing up clods of thick brown dirt, well-muscled legs pumping like pistons as it raced through bracken, down-hanging branches and thick clumbs of fronds. Its breath came calmly and easily, as if this long run at midnight could not even begin to get the creature tired.
The mouse, after a few minutes of this, began to stumble. It could not find its hole, what with the penetrating darkness, the thing right behind it and the needles covering the ground. Finally, it fell, small heart beating a drumroll, paws scrabbling to get back up again, muscles twitching from the great effort that had been put upon them. The other swiftly caught up, even slowing down to a casual walk. You could tell it was relishing the last moments of the mouse's life, and could hardly wait to erase the last flame burning inside the tiny animal's body.
The thing stepped into a thick beam of moonlight, revealing itself for a few precious seconds. It was a cat, thin and emaciated, its dark brown and black striped pelt hanging loosely on its form. Its cheekbones were clearly apparent, same as the hips and ribs. It was obvious that this feline was ravenous, and hungered for something else than crowfood. A glint could be seen in its glowing green eyes, but not the shine of happiness nor of victory. It had something like evil, but not entirely so. As if those twin pools of stagnant water were telling this mouse, in the last minutes of its life, that its survival was hopeless and without meaning. A thin smile of smug satisfaction hung tightly on the cat's lips, and its eyelids were half closed. This caused it to look as if it were having a pleasent dream.
The feline's paws reached the mouse's side. Ebony claws gleamed like stony ice in the feeble illumination of the trees. Ivory teeth shone like the moon, sharp as crags and harder than rock. In a slow, deliberate movement, the cat brought a single claw down onto the mouse's neck, seeming to say in its pleased and beaming smirk:
"Say goodbye, worthless thing."
Agony sat silently, high in the branches of an oak. The smile she had put on earlier while killing the mouse was still there, insisting, omnipresent. However, her eyes were fully open, taking in all the movement of the ground below.
The she-cat's gray-furred stomach grumbled in hunger. She growled at it, giving it a punch with her clenched paw, and returned to her sitting position.
Today has been a good day, she thought, changing her seat slightly to make it more comfortable.
Of course it has. Did I not tell you it would be? another voice answered.
Agony began cleaning her striped back, tongue rasping over the brown and black markings, intertwined with a dull silver.
Well? Did I not? the voice repeated, becoming insistent.
"Yes, you did," the she-cat mewed quietly. "But you didn't say how. This day could have been good for someone else instead of me."
She turned to face the tree, a taunting look in her sun-hued eyes. The voice paused, seemed to give up, and grumbled low.
Whatever.
The simple word echoed inside her head, meaning that the voice was gone. At least for the moment.
"Yes, whatever. You cannot control my life. No one can. After all, I am one of Nightclan."
Why you should get this character: I've had lots of experience with different Clans and cats, and I can keep the personality of a cat the same all through its RPing, unless it somehow changes because of a happening or a thought that has filtered into its brain. The Ziggu from WCv2, for example, lost her memory because she had an internal battle with the 'shadow' half of herself, the part of her mind that makes her go mad. Or, as something else, Spiderthorn became nicer and less tense around others because she met Dragonfang and fell in love. However, cats like Clawpaw or Tawnykit kept the way they acted, even though they could have changed later on.
Another reason is that I'm on most of the time, except for the rare times where a vacation befalls upon my family's home, like last week, for example, or on weekends. I won't be on then, but I'm on every other day, mainly because the sites created by Kiib and the others are some of the best I've ever seen.
I've had plenty of warrior cats, evil cats, quiet and shy cats, mad cats, weird cats, normal cats, calm cats, etc. etc., so I can RP pretty much every personality. And I'm good at evil kittehs >=D Muahahahahahaha!
However, I will submit to the admins' decision. If they say I may keep this character, then I will. If they say I may not, I will move on and create another, trying to make it even better than the last. I hope that I will be chosen to enter the ranks of Nightclan, though I comprehend if I cannot.
Thank you for understanding, and have a nice day.
((Just had to add that last part XD))
