Name: Wraithclaw
Honor: Yes
Age: 20 moons
Gender: Tom
Appearance: Wraithclaw is a dark gray tabby with burgundy stripes going down the entire length of his frame which gives him the appearance of a mis-colored tiger. The fur on his face molds from gray to a maple brown, while he has little white flecks on his cheeks as though he had jumped into a pile of snow. Overall, Wraithclaw is a short haired cat, with the exception of his tail. The fur on it is only a little bit longer than the fur on the rest of his body, and it is hardly noticeable unless you were to stand right in front of him. But only his clan mates ever see him that close.
RP Example: The sun was just getting ready to rise over the barren moorland as a large tabby happened to be right in the way of it. No details could be made out to identify this mysterious figure. For the sun had darkened his features leaving only a black outline of the warrior that had begun to stalk the moors every morning since he could remember. The young warrior lifted his head and smelled the fresh morning air as he did every day. He quickly lifted a fore paw and began to lick the dew from the grass off of his fur. Wraithclaw had been coming out to the top of the hill that extended almost all the way around the WindClan territory to watch the sun rise every morning and to watch it go down every night since his greatest friend and companion passed on into Silverpelt which could still be seen in the rising sunlight. Tallstar had been a father figure for him in his early days at WindClan. In fact, Tallstar had really been the closest thing to a parent that he had ever had in his entire life. Since he had passed on, his deputy, Hawkfrost had taken over and was now referred to as Hawkstar. He admired Hawkstar but he knew that things would never be the same without Tallstar. As he sighed to himself he noticed that there were some loners standing at the bottom of the moor. They hadn't noticed him yet they soon did. The loners stopped in their tracks and stared up at the still black outline. But with the sun right behind this mysterious cat, and the sun rising in their eyes, they had to look away because of the brightness. When they looked up again, expecting to see the same figure still standing there, they were surprised when they saw nothing up on the hill.
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
Breed: Tabby
Personality: Wraithclaw is a kind cat, even though his name doesn't sound too inviting. He is unusually cunning for his age and likes to spend his free time in the elders den listening to their tales about ancient battles that had been long since forgotten like a kit enjoying it's first story. He is somewhat shy and will keep to himself most of the time unless asked to do a task of some sort or is called over to give an opinion on matters like strategies. He is an excellent hunter and fighter, mostly due to his mentor, the former leader of WindClan.
History:~ Kit hood: There is nothing that he remembers about his kit hood, because he was taken from her at a very young age and taken back to the WindClan camp. His father had been a WindClan warrior and his mother whom he knew nothing about had been a loner. At least that is what he assumes. He was given the fore name Wraith because when he was wandering around the camp, cats would occasionally look up at him and then look again and he wouldn't be there. He would just disappear and then reappear somewhere completely different from his original position.
Apprentice: When Wraithclaw became six moons old, it was time for him to receive a mentor as is customary in all the clans. But when Tallstar had named himself as Wraithclaw's mentor, the young and eager apprentice was shocked at first, but also extremely pleased as well. Wraithclaw had heard stories about the strange techniques that Tallstar used to teach his apprentices while on one of his visits to the elders den. It was said that he only took on the best pupils and that he worked them harder than the other mentors. Wraithclaw quickly realized that these were not old tales that the elders had made up.
Warrior: On the eve of Wraithclaw's naming ceremony, he had received his final lesson with his teacher. And not knowing that he would never see the old cat again, he had no worries. During his vigil that night, a raiding party from RiverClan attacked the camp. Luckily the newly appointed warrior had been prepared. He sounded the alarm just as they were entering the camp. The battle continued throughout the whole night. In the end, the WindClan cats drove off their invaders and went back to the camp to survey the damage and care for the wounded. Wraithclaw found Tallstar's body off to the side of Tallrock. He had fought bravely to keep his clan safe, but in the end it wasn't enough to keep himself alive.
