Name: Hawktalon
-Do you honor? Si. Yes.
Age:
-23 moons
Gender:
-Tom
Appearance:
(Except not so fat)
RP Example:
-"Run, Hawk!" screeched a tom's deep voice over the rush of feathered wings, and the pounding of many paw-pads. A tiny brown kit with plashes of ebony ran forward clumsily. "Mother!" he mewed pathetically.
"Hurry!" urged the tom again, getting further and further away until Hawk only heard silence.
"M-Mother?" The tabby kit whirled around at the sound of a bush rustling. Another kit rushed toward Hawk, fur bristling, making him a big ball of fluff. "Where is it?" he demanded.
"Where's what, Falcon?"
"The fox! It's--" Falcon was cut off as there was a menacing snarl in the bushes. Both of the kit's eyes widened in fear and they turned as one to face the inevitable. "We have to run." hissed Falcon to his brother.
The kits slowly backed away as a white tipped tail thrust up through the undergrowth, bobbing toward there glade. They turned tail and pelted through the bushes, going as fast as their tiny legs could carry them.
Hawk raced ahead of his brother, flying faster than a kit in play could, moving as if he was propelled by invisible wings. Falcon, being the bigger of the two, fell back, feeling the fear bite into him a second before the fox did.
"Falcon!" called Hawk after a few minutes. He had heard a scuffle behind him, but thought it was only a mouse of vole that his parents told him about. "Falcon, where are you!" He scanned the bushes, waiting to see his brother's tan pelt appear and race toward him. But it never came, and Hawk started to wonder the last time he heard his brother's breath, or felt his heavy paws it the earth.
Hawk's blue eyes going to amber widened as he felt realization creep into his conscienceness... "F-Falcon? It's n-not funny, Falcon. Come on out now." Hawk whispered, shivering, not from cold but from knowing. His voice was small and tiny and seemed to be sucked into the vacuum of the towering trees. The kit trembled as he raised a shaky paw to move out of the breezy glade. I'm all alone... In a strange place... I'm hungry. He all at once felt hunger stir in his belly.
Clan:
-WindClan
Rank:
-Warrior
Breed:
-Brown Tabby American Short hair
Personality:
-Very patient and happy, Hawktalon longs to become a mentor and rear an apprentice. He tries to spread happiness throughout his Clan and tends to daydream by the edges of ShadowClan. He doesn't know why, but he longs to go in the shadowy forest and find out why he is finding nightmares in his subconsciousness. And what shadows lurk in there...
History:
-Hawktalon's father and mother didn't honor the warrior code, and gave them one-word-names of birds of prey. His history is not so elaborate as many cats in the forest but it still was tragic, even if he doesn't remember. The one word to describe his kithood, though, is; Fantastic! Until one day...
On a normal day in the season of green-leaf, Jade and Granite (Mother and Father of Hawktalon), took their kits, Hawk, Falcon, and Raven outside the territory of WindClan to the edge of ShadowClan to see what trees taller than their own looked like when they encountered a fox.
Having never had dealt or seen a fox in action before, Granite thought he could kill the monster single-handedly and Jade ran forward, Raven in her mouth, followed by Falcon, but Hawk stayed behind with is father. Granite tried to lead the fox away from his family and perished soon after.
The fox followed Jade's fear-scent and killed her and Raven, dragging them into it's lair. Another stalked Falcon and Hawk and dashed after them, soon getting to Falcon and the rest is self explanatory.
Hawk wailed and cried for hours, being far from home, all alone, and surrounded by blood-thirsty predators made him feel hopeless and that he would be eaten by a fox too. At sunhigh, the trees provided little shelter from the heat and an apprentice getting examined by her mentor stumbled upon the lump of fur that was Hawk.
She was followed by her mentor and they both smelled WindClan on him and went took him back to WindClan's border, waiting for a warrior patrol of the enemy Clan.
They didn't have long to wait; WindClan's warriors took Hawk back to their camp. And he became 'Hawkpaw'. He was trained in the warrior code and became 'Hawktalon' after his long, sharp claws.
