Name: Polor Shard (Nick-name: Shard)
Do you honor?: Not Really
Age: Seventeen Moons
Gender: Female
Appearance: Polar Shard has a very unique and defiant look; she is not easily forgotten. This she-cat is pure white, for the exception of a light grey patch on her head, centered between her ears, just above her glorious eyes. With a thick pelt and a tempting look, it is hard to resist such a feline. However, her exquisite features physically are nothing compared to her eyes. Shard was born with one eye, her left, a deep blue color; the color of ease. Her right on the other hand, is a misty blue, like the clouds on an early morning, before the sun’s rise. Never has she known someone with such a feature; not even her parents had two different colored eyes. Not only that, but the power they have over you.
Polar Shard’s eyes gleam as if the heavens themselves hide behind them, casting a weary light that wants so desperately to be free. Her divine nature only makes them more powerful. Tom’s can often have a problem with coherency around her.
RP Example: (Polor Shards reply to Stormpelts RP) “Time to go,” Polar Shard muttered to herself, but she didn’t really want to. Technically she was still safe. If the ShadowClan warriors attacked her, she had the right to fight back; she was on her side of the water. Nevertheless, it probably wouldn’t be wise to stay around.
Slowly and silently, she stood up – or rather crouched – and began to backup, careful not to snap a twig or something else that would give her away. When se was safely out of harms way, she stood up and turned all the way, leaving her family with the other clan cats.
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
Breed: Mix of Ragdoll and Norwegian Forest Cat
Personality: How do you define someone with eyes of pure pearl and a personality of pure gold? Shard, being young considering the life span of a Clan cat, is a loving she-cat with a fierce temper. Start off on her good side; you’re likely to stay there. Start on her bad side, you’re likely to remain there. With the unlikely talent force of her eyes, Polar Shard has an amazing affect on other cats, toms especially. She can be as sweet as a new born kit, or as ragged as an old, worn Warrior. Sure Shard can truly show passion, but that disappears on the battle field
History: Polar Shard was born and raised within WindClan. Unlike her brothers and sisters, she remained there. Iceheart, her unbearably sweet mother, and Stormtail, Shard’s loyal father, raised her and her siblings for immeasurable years. However, they were separate.
Iceheart, a Clan cat of WindClan, and her father, of ShadowClan, met at a Gathering, quite in their youth. The two chatted happily through the whole thing, becoming, slowly but surely, united by love. Coming from two different Clans however, caused a problem.
Often Stormtail would sneak over to WindClan, to see his beloved friend, becoming more and more attached. They stayed out late, loving by night, hating by day, due to their unlikely boundaries. Both Leaders became aware of their weariness during the daytime.
It wasn’t before long that Iceheart was pregnant with kits. Stormtail was thrilled, but unsure of just how to raise the soon-to-be born kits. They finally settled that they would be raised in WildClan, the Clan of their mother. All too soon, the kits were born.
Stormkit, named after his father, Snowkit, Polarkit and Whitekit came into the lives of Iceheart and Stormtail, filling them both with more love then thought possible. The kit’s were raised, knowing full well where their father was, visiting him every other night, speaking with him at Gatherings when they came of age. Despite their troubles, it worked well.
It wasn’t until their young could start forming lives of their own, did they decide to join their father, tired of only seeing one parent regularly. All loved their mother, it hurt for each of them to leave, but they wanted to learn more about Stormtail; something they couldn’t do as it stood.
Polarpaw, having gained her apprentice name, stayed behind.
Shard had grown oddly descendent to her mother and, no matter what she felt for her father, couldn’t leave. Her mother needed her, if all of them left, she’d go into pieces. After watching her brothers and sisters leave, Iceheart and Polarpaw went back to their camp, her mother weeping the whole way.
Polarpaw’s feelings were confirmed.
She couldn’t leave.
Moons passed and the only contact they had became Gathering’s, for neither wanted any unnecessary questions arising. Polarpaw gained her Warrior name, having successfully filled her training, as well as her sibling. She now addressed them as Stormpelt, Snowfur and Whitenight. And all too soon, her world came crashing down.
Iceheart, her dear mother, passed away, suffering from Green Cough. All of her family was deeply affected. Stormtail was finally force to reveal her family’s secret, needing some reason to be able to be allowed on their camp to morn. None were punished, the Leader having been affected by Iceheart’s death as much as the rest. Stormtail and all their kids were granted permission to speak with Polar Shard at night hours, seeing how she was left alone now, but none of her family willing to return to their dead mother’s Clan; Polar Shard unable to leave.
Having suffered a great deal, things, she thought, couldn’t get worse. This proved false. Her father passed away the following year. All of his family were allowed to morn, but then finally forced to have Shard return to her own Clan, her brothers and sisters forced to remain where they had lived for so long. Grief painted the following moons of Polar Shards life.
After such great trials, one could rightly wonder just how Shard survived. She, somehow, managed, living her life to its fullest content, unwilling to suffer in agony. Living life as a true Warrior, Polar Shard fights for her Clan as loyal as her family, her family of another Clan.
