Name: Moonstorm Do you honor?: Yes Age: 17 moons Gender: She-cat Appearance: Moonstorm’s pelt is that of a classic silver tabby, white with dark swirls that carry an almost silver sheen. Her eyes are a luminous jade, alert yet pensive. Her pelt darkens as it gets back towards her tail; her tail is fluffier than the rest of her and is more dark than silver. She is a moderate size for a She-cat Warrior, slim and strong, but only moderately quick. Her ears are silver but for three dark lines that skitter across the plain of solid color. The silver is so like the sheen of the light of the moon, and the dark lines are like wind gusts that are scattered across the light. Her nose is small, although it gives her a very detailed sense of smell. Her whiskers are long and often twitch when she is amused. She has long ivory-like claws and long legs. RP Example: Dark water trickled through Moonstorm’s thoughts, penetrating the solace of her mind. It cleansed the dust off many memories better left forgotten, scourging away all Moonstorm had done to bury them deep within her subconscious. Remember Rainpaw. She padded to the riverbank, her pawsteps delicate but even. Silverpelt shone bright above her, the glimmering home of StarClan lighting her heart with silver fire. Water rushed along, ever flowing, in the great river of RiverClan. The moon was ascending into the deep ebony sky, beams of moonlight bathing her silver fur in a warm glow that seeped deep into the very marrow of her bones. Oh StarClan, take care of Rainpaw. She gazed into the rushing water, afraid of what memories lay hidden in her reflection. The water kept up a steady pace, moving onward, forgetting all it had seen. Moonstorm longed to be one with the water, to float away to bliss. She ached to leave her body behind, to let her spirit soar with StarClan and to sing the song of the rushing river. Moonstorm’s reflection materialized among the heavy currents, the water below her momentarily colored silver. Her luminous jade orbs glowed in the near-darkness. The swirls and notches hidden within those eyes held sorrow as well as strength, determination as well as loyalty. Before those very eyes, her reflection began to swirl with the currents, morphing into that of another. Oh, StarClan, help me move on. Help me to forget. Rainpaw stared back at her, eyes aglow with the golden fire that had never left them, even in death. Moonstorm splashed away the reflection with her paw. It seemed not only had she gazed into the river; she had gazed into the darkened waters of her past. She looked intently at the dissipating reflection, watching as the ripples distorted her image, tendrils of wayward water threaded through her image. Moonstorm was jolted suddenly out of her thoughts by a warm pelt, pressed lightly against hers. Her Clanmate’s eyes were brimming with compassion and understanding as she purred to comfort Moonstorm. “You have dawn patrol tomorrow,” the cat reminded her, tone soft, “You need sleep, Moonstorm.” Turning away from the water, away from her past, Moonstorm followed her back to the camp. Her primary duty was to the Clan and it would not be helpful if she dozed on patrol. Yet, the memories and emotions still lingered, wrapping their icy fingers around Moonstorm’s sore heart. Upon entering the nearly silent camp, Moonstorm held her head a little higher, eyes gleaming with inner strength. Her duty was to her Clan.
Remember Rainpaw…
Clan: RiverClan Rank: Warrior Breed: Unknown Personality: Moonstorm is a very pensive cat, always lost in thought. A fierce Warrior feeds on the terrible emotions that haunt her heart, destroying enemies for the sake of a better cat than she who would never make it to Warriorhood. She is compassionate but very closed with her emotions. She takes her problems into her own paws, and for that she suffers greatly. She loves her friends and Clanmates, and feels a special connection to StarClan because of Rainpaw, even though they do not speak to her. She wishes she could confide her secrets and guilt in someone, but knows not who that cat could be. History: Moonstorm has a very stormy past complete with death, guilt, loss, and heartbreak. Moonstorm’s father was a great warrior, but she never met him because he died shortly after her birth, killed by a WindClan Warrior in a territory battle. Moonstorm grew up knowing her mother, but soon after the death of her father, her mother took up with another tom that disliked Moonstorm the moment he saw her. Her mother was quite oblivious to the fact that he liked to torture his stepdaughter, and so Moonstorm was delighted when she was made an apprentice. Unfortunately, that’s when tragedy struck. As an apprentice, she met Rainpaw, a cat who looked so much like Moonstorm that many thought they were kin. They befriended each other and everything went well until the fateful day that Rainpaw and Moonstorm went out to the river to fish. WindClan attacked while they were fishing and the battle began. RiverClan was outnumbered from the beginning and they desperately needed more Warriors. Moonstorm volunteered to go and retrieve others, leaving Rainpaw behind with two other Warriors to fend off the whole raiding party. When she returned with others, everyone who had been left was slain, including Rainpaw. Although RiverClan defeated WindClan, Moonstorm is haunted to this day with memories and the sentence that repeats itself through her mind, even as a Warrior: If I had been there, if I had taken her with me, would StarClan have spared her? Picture: Don't have one currently, but I might find one later.

Thank you *dips head graciously* That's quite a compliment coming from you. I didn't know exactly how much to put for Appearance and Personality, but I thought because she's a new character, detail helps. ^^

Ok....I believe that was another compliment, so I will grace it with another thank you. I think. Ok....I'll add a bit more detail to those bits. It was late at night, and I wrote those two last, so I was getting a tad tired. *opens up word document* Yay, editing!

It's ok....I'm like that too. One of my close friends is a total math wizard (can't write to save her life, but 'tis ok) and she asked me to do 55*2 in my head and I cheated and used a calculator because I wanted to give her a quick answer.
