Picture:
Name: Bluedancer
Do you honor?: yes
Age: 14 months
Gender: female
Appearance: Bluedancer is a lithe long legged cat, with short hair. She has a white belly with a slivery colored back, and thin darker stripes on top. Bluedancer’s tail is almost all black, offsetting her very light coloured face. Her nose is also all black, and her eyes are very dark green.
RP Example: It was new-leaf, and the river was swollen with water, rushing and crashing down the gorge. A small kit shivered on the bank, her paws curled up and nose wrinkling in discomfort. Her feet were cold, her fur was slick with water, and she had the general appearance of a drowned rat. Mewling morosely to herself, Bluedancer wiggled the length of her body in one shivering movement, fruitlessly trying to dry off. She loved water normally, but right now it felt too gloomy with all rain pelting down, some of the droplets rolling off her oily pelt, most soaking directly through to her skin. It was uncomfortable, to say the least.
Bluedancer moved from her vigil at the river, melting back into the low bushes a few feet from the water. As night set in she crouched and waited, her body slowly drying out. The darkness and fog crept in, rolling over the river to settle at her feet, and Bluedancer wrinkled her whiskers in distaste, coughing slightly. It was a light sound, almost like the rustle of dry leaves, and yet the noise set her on edge. She didn’t know what she was hiding from, only that she had to stay quiet. Nuzzling her mouth into her paws, she effectively stifled any reoccurrence of the cough.
Clan: Riverclan
Rank: formerly a loner, now newly a Warrior.
Personality: Bluedancer may be of warrior age, but she often acts as though she were an apprentice, bouncing around like an over-energized furball. She is very inquisitive, but she likes to observe from the outside, rather than be in the midst of things. She is sightly in awe of the older warriors and leaders, as they have always been part of the clan; she identifies much better with the older apprentices and young warriors, as they are still learning just as she is. She is a very loving cat, and likes to make other cats happy; you can often find her with a smile and a contented purr. She can be a little antsy around the leader and deputy, as she still feels that she needs to prove herself to them, but all in all she feels comfortable with the other clan cats, having been with them for seven months. She is a very passionate cat, her emotions are always intense and directed.
History: Bluedancer was born a loner, yet she always admired the clans, and the security they seemed to provide. She gave herself a clan name, Bluedancer, when she found out about Starclan. The idea of Starclan made sense to her, and explained many things, so she wanted to honor them and follow their code.
Kittenhood - Bluedancer lived near a farm house for a long time, living off the mice that flocked around the grain shed. She doesn’t remember her father, and only vaguely remembers her mother, for they mean nothing to her now; she is focused on her present life. She was a very scrawny little thing, avoiding both humans and other cats as she knew that she couldn’t protect herself.
Apprentice Age - Bluedancer became aware of the clans as she ventured away from the farm, a longing for adventure urging her to leave her comforting home. She ventured along the edges of Riverclan and Windclan, meeting with patrols that warned the skinny cat away. Once and a while she would find a cat hunting alone, and would ask him about the clans and Starclan. In this way, she learned almost as much of the clan’s ways as a real clan cat would know. She wasn’t afraid of water, and grew to envy the Riverclan cats and their special affinity for swimming. When Bluedancer was about seven months old, she was finally accepted into Riverclan and began her apprenticeship immediately, as she was already a month behind the other apprentices. Some of the cats mistrusted her, but they were mostly able to accept her, as she was young and had no loyalty to the other clans.
Warrior Age - Bluedancer is still adjusting to being around the other cats, but she has had no problem adjusting to actual clan life, as she has emulated it for as long as she can remember. She was 13 months when she became a warrior, rather than 12, as she started her training a month late. Her leader gave her the warrior name she had originally picked for herself as a kit, saying that Starclan found the name appropriate.
