Name:
-Shadeheart.
Do you honor?:
-Yes.
Age:
-Around 10 seasons.
Gender:
-Tom.
Appearance:
-Shadeheart is a muscular ebony cat with his fur sleek and shiny from natural oils. His unusually large paws thunder when he runs, and help him paddle through the river. His coat is thick and is hard to dry, but it doesn't bother him; why would a sane cat go swimming in leaf-bare? The only change of color on his pelt is on his belly, where there is an ivory circle, like a shooting star. Shadeheart's optics are a frosty artic azure, and glitter with an unseen humor most of times. His long tail is long and bushy, and his ears have tufts of jet fur sprout off at the tips.
RP Example:
-Whats out there? Why do I always look over there? whirled through a black tom's mind as he sat beside the churning liquid. His cold blue gaze was locked on the shadowy forest across the road of water and his ears twitched every now and then.
Why do I have doubts?
Comet.
The tom leaped up and whirled around, his fur bristling, and his pointed ivory teeth were bared in a snarl. "This is happening far too often!" he spat.
After a couple of tense minutes that consisted of scanning the undergrowth by the trees over and over and over and over again, he sat down on the sandy riverbed and tried to lick his fur down. "Stupid wind. Always tricking me into thinking that someone is stalking me," the warrior muttered between licks.
The tom suddenly froze, feeling eyes boring twin holes into his back. He slowly turned his head to face the river and saw a pair of bright emerald eyes glaring at him from across the rapids.
ShadowClan?
Then the eyes blinked, and were gone. But still the warrior remained still.
Minutes crawled by... Slow second by excruciating slow second... Until...
"Hey, Shadeheart!"
The ebon feline leaped in the air and whirled around, hissing at his 'stalker'.
The little grey tabby tilted her head and motioned with her tail to the spot he was standing on. "Why do you always come here?"
Shadeheart was instantly annoyed. Why did the cats of RiverClan always ask him that?!
"None of your concern, Emberpaw!" he snapped. When the apprentice's amber eyes looked to the ground and she hung her head, down cast, Shadeheart sighed. "I'm sorry, Emberpaw; I didn't mean to snap."
The little she-cat didn't hesitate a second. She leaped into the air, eyes bright, tail raised, and cried, "Wonderful! Now, Taintedstar, or somebody wanted you."
Sighing again, Shadeheart followed the bouncing apprentice back to the RiverClan camp.
Comet.
Clan:
-RiverClan
Rank:
-Warrior
Breed:
-Unknown
Personality:
-Shadeheart is a cat who rarely talks, but spends his time trying to fit his past all together. He doesn't know really anything of his past, and hates it. The rest of the Clan is distant from him for some unknown reason. Shadeheart sometimes gets accused of treachery since he is ever watching ShadowClan by some irresistable desire--a desire he doesn't understand. When he is happy, he'll let the kits chase his tail, unless he was chased away by the queens first. In a melancholy day, Shadeheart will lay in the most shadowy part of RiverClan and contemplate everything that happened, trying to find the one part of him; his past.
History:
-Shadeheart doesn't remeber much of his kithood except one word; Comet. The tom will try and try again, until he is mentally exhausted to find out what 'comet' means. He remembers a terror, a rush in his ears, and shouting voices.
When he became an apprentice, Shadepaw, he always went over to the RiverClan and ShadowClan borders because he was drawn to it. He didn't know why, but he was, and still is. The other apprentices noticed this and reported him to the warriors, who said something to the deputy, who told their leader a garbled version of it.
Shadepaw was comitted of travelling onto ShadowClan territory and frolicing over there with the enemy felines, sharing RiverClan's secrets. He distanced himself after that, but tried to prove himself in his Clan's eyes.
After a badger tried to attack the camp, Shadeheart felt an unpredicted terror. He couldn't move, but when he saw the badger clumsily trying to wade through the water, he felt an undying anger. He leaped forward and swam past the badger, and it swiped at him. Shadepaw had started to race through the trees, badger in pursuit, and leaped onto a Thunderpath.
The apprentice watched the badger sniff the edge and lumber towards him, right when theground trembled. There was a roaring, and both Shadepaw and the badger looked up.
There was a monster.
Shadepaw watched it round a bend and leaped off.
The badger, however, was too slow.
After that, Shadepaw was given his warrior name, Shadeheart.
