Blacknose woke with a start. The last thing he could remember was lying in the middle of his Clans' clearing, helplessly loosing blood, and then nothing. He knew he was dead, but the thought of his being here, still hit his head like a sack of taters![/strike]carrion rat. This place... This place is so, bright. After all of his wonders on how StarClan might look, he finally knew. Not what he was expecting, but as much as he did not want to say it, this place seemed to be deserted to him. Nothing seemed to block his sound waves from his movements. When he moved, the echo would never come.
Feeling so alone made Blacknose feel so small. In a place such as this, lonelyness struck him in the head and he instantly felt like he was back in his death stage; rising up to StarClan. What was then, so cold, bright and shallow, was sinking into his fur now. He was shivering, his eyes hurt, and his heart felt empty. Whatever happened to the other WindClan cats? The little question made a big pester in his mind. His friends, his close to family, his leader and deputy. they were all in this big open land somewhere, and for Blacknose to find out would be an awefully big adventure. [blue]Peter Pan!![/blue]
[blue]Hope you can lead off on this, Fernn![/blue]

((Okay, here comes a RiverClan cat. Please don't re-kill him!))
Broad shoulders pushed brush and stalks of grass away as massive body slipped through the foliage as easily and as silently as a hot knife through butter. Tigerpelt didn't know where he was going, but one thing was clear. He was going away. He was heading away from Ziggu's laughs and scornful remarks, away from mushy toms and their mates, away from cats who despised him and marked him a traitor without even speaking to him, away from all things. What he'd find when he got a place where none of these things existed, he didn't know. He just needed to get away.
Tigerpelt paused, craning his neck forward, nostrils flaring. Something was in the grass in front of him. No breeze to blow the sent towards him, though, so he had no idea who or what was lying there. Tigerpelt had no idea if there was badgers or foxes in StarClan, but he wasn't taking the chance.
He crouched, listening intently. He didn't want to be taken by surprise when he actually saw the creature, so he might as well listen and find out what it was doing. You never could tell . . .

As far as he could tell, Blacknose hoped that one day he would meet every cat that had belonged to the Clans' in his time. All of his Clan, might, some day be reunited again. With a heavy thought, Blacknose noticed that there was no breeze. If there is no breeze, maybe there will be no scent. Looking for an answer, Blacknose sniffed the air. Something was behind him and stupidly downwind. With a nudge to the ground, Blacknose hunched in a hunter's crouch. Funny. Thought Blacknose, I am up in StarClan and still abiding their warrior skills.. With a push of his leg muscles ever so lightly, Blacknose began to walk towards the smell. The object was not inanimate, but a cat. A tom for that fact, and not one of WindClan. With a hiss, and knowing that he was in range of a pounce, Blacknose, well, pounced.

Tigerpelt silently cursed himself as he realized that Blacknose had scented him. What a stupid, stupid move! Being in StarClan must've softened you up, the harsh side of his personality commented. Amber eyes looked up into the face of a black tom flying through the air towards him. Half of Tigerpelt wanted to rise up to the extent of his massive heigth and bat the tom out of the air. But that would only provoke a fight, and that was the last thing Tigerpelt wanted. The spitting-image of Tigerstar rolled out of the way, and leaped to his feet, well out of the way from Blacknose.
Tigerpelt mewed, "A little high-strung, aren't we? You know, since you're in StarClan I'm assuming you're dead, and once you're dead, nothing can really re-kill you, you know?" Tigerpelt proceeded, as though Blacknose had not caught on to what he was hinting at, "Therefore, I don't think you really need to be worried about any attacks from me, and I don't really need to be worried about an attack from you." The massive tabby tom sat, looking down at the tom, waiting for a reaction. He was betting that the first reaction the tom would be surprise---he'd think he just met Tigerstar---and then hostility. That was the order in which things met. Whenever he met a cat in StarClan it was always surprise, then hostility. He waited for the reaction, unenthusiastically.

Blacknose fell awkwardly after not being able to land a full jump onto the back of his “enemy.” His hind legs went up to where his fore legs were intended to be, but his fore legs were all the way in the and then hit the ground parallel to his belly. Ow. He hissed at himself in his mind, That didn't work out well! Blacknose shook his head as to clear his previous undertakings, and stared straight into the eyes of the other cat. This cat was like a facsimile of the noble warrior Tigerstar. This “noble” cat's greed for ranks turned him into a cat that not even the most diminutive kit would know about.
“I wouldn't be talking if I were you.” Blacknose meowed with a tinge of hissing. “With a remembrance kind of body like that? No wonder you were wondering StarClan territory single-handedly.” Blacknose sheathed in his claws. “ Nice observation, by the way. The only logical reason for any cat to be in StarClan would have to mean that they were dead. Though right now I have no use for you in my friendship land, unless you prove me otherwise, I agree with you. We are already in StarClan, so creating a fight would just mean that it would be a waste of our precious energy.” Blacknose nodded without waiting for the other cat to answer and acted like he understood.

Tigerpelt watched impassively, golden eyes blank and back rigid. He nodded acquiescently (sp?), "You're right. I shouldn't be talking." He shrugged his shoulders, gesturing to the wide open plains around them. "What, do you think I travel around with a throng of admirers following me?" he tone became bitter, "I don't expect to be welcomed into your 'Friendship Land'. Why would you invite me into it anyway? Nobody invites Tigerstar's descendant." His last word was spat out like a curse. Tigerpelt didn't care if now all the rage that had been bubbling up inside of him since he had first been called Tigerstar was coming out. He was sick and tired of being reserved and agressive and hiding his emotions. He just wanted to "let loose" as some cats called it.
After his short outburst, he sat feeling relatively better. Never before had he actually "spilled the sparrows" as Ziggu had said. Well, he had asked for help from Ziggu, but she had laughed at him. Now this tom would probably laugh at him too. He glared at the tom, "Well? Where's that raucous outburst of laughter or yowl of hatred that always comes out when I talk to someone?"

“Apparently….” Blacknose started, looking at the ground, as he knew he struck a weak spot, “You are too egotistical.” His fore-right paw was working on the ground by digging a hole. The perforation had gotten so deep by the time he was about ready to talk that the dirt that was once light brown had turned to a somewhat black. “You are always thinking about you self, and are too apprehensive around other people because you believe that they are going to say something hissy at you.” Blacknose looked up at the, what he smelled, RiverClan cat. He saw nothing to be afraid of. This was a cat that he was looking at. Blacknose was a cat. His whole Clan were cats. Why should he treat any other cat a different way then that of kin?
“Instead of assuming that everyone around you is going to make fun of you, be yourself. If they do make fun of you, for whom you look like, than teach them a lesson. You really shouldn't be too antagonistic around cats you don't know.” With that said, Blacknose closed his mouth. He wasn't going to say anything else to aggravate this Tigerstar descendant. With his mouth closed, and to make sure that it wasn't going to open and spit out another smart remark, he tucked his lower lip into his mouth and held it tight with his upper row of teeth.

Tigerpelt stood up, striped tabby pelt bristling. "But that's exactly why I'm hated!" he spat. "You say be myself. That's what I do. You say if others don't respect me, teach them a lesson. I have no trouble with that. My true character is so confused, that I don't know if I like to be mean, or if I like to be quiet. Ziggu could tell you how confused I am. I am so confused, I actually went to a rogue for help!" He shook his massive head in disgust at his own folly.
A bird flew right above the two toms' heads, chirping gaily. Snarling in anger, Tigerpelt swung a massive paw in the air, and it collided with a dull thud. The lifeless bird flew several feet before landing facedown in the loamy turf, dead.
He growled, "See? I can't help myself! I'm a maniac, I'm a killing machine. That's all I'll ever be."

Blacknose shook his head. You only think you are because of all of you anger. Blacknose wanted to shout out, but he held his tongue. With knowing that he couldn't articulate otherwise by making the tom stop being belligerent, Blacknose shook each paw in turn, and then turned around. Before his whole body turned around, his mouth opened up, “You're not a maniac. Please… Just try?” With that said, Blacknose continued on walking.
If he is not going to be nice, then neither am I. With his legs gliding across the open plain, Blacknose looked back at the bird that the strange tom had taken the life from. The bird's body look all crippled and it's feathers were lying all around it. Now he knew that if he were even to try with the other cat, that if he made the wrong move, that could be him.

Tigerpelt sighed and shrugged, what had he got to lose? "Fine," he grunted. "If it will make you shut up! I've never known as cat who knows as many big words as you do. Little cat, big words," he grumbled to himself.
He swung his massive head over the plains, searching for another living creature besides himself and Blacknose. It seemed so quiet. But Tigerpelt knew that in the quiet, cats were hunting, cats were talking, and cats were playing. He sighed again. What a bummer this was! In StarClan, you couldn't even kill something! Tigerpelt looked sideways at Blacknose. Now that the tom had finished his lesson of morals, what would he do?

((I guess . . .))
Tigerpelt stood up abruptly. He dipped his head cordially to the tom, grunting, "Well, thanks for the advice. I can't just sit around all day like some cats." With those not-so-cordial words, the massive tom whirled on his paws and disappeared into the grasses. They swished and writhed ominously as the dark shadow passed through, then stilled. Except for the small indentation where the tom had been sitting, there was no evidence that he'd ever been there.
Tigerpelt ducked and weaved through the tall stalks, the loamy earth muffling his heavy pawsteps. He looked back over his shoulder, and sighed inwardly. Once, just once, it would be nice to meet a cat who liked him. Blacknose was as close as he could get, the brute supposed dryly.
