[Yeh great StarClan, I'm late on this one. Terribly sorreh x.x]
Relief swept through the young she-cat as she saw Hazelblaze awake. Though, by the confusion showing clearly inside his amber oculars as his gaze flicked over to her, she knew - or, at least, thought that - he couldn't quite understand what was happening at the moment, it still made her feel better now that he could be there to offer help if she ever needed it. A fleeting smile appeared on her crimson maw, though it was soon whisked away as she went back to looking at the Leader, not yet daring to stare the she-cat straight in her blue orbs, while the brown tabby tom asked his own inquiry towards the ivory white female.
It did not take long for Rapidstar to answer both questions, swiftly switching from one to the other as she gave her reply. Spiderbreath, hearing the supposedly comforting phrase that the gray-streaked femme had directed towards her, gave a short dip of her head in thanks. There would have been a time, now seeming so very far away, when she would have retreated even farther into her already hunched shoulders, plastering stiff earth-hued ears to her skull, almost as if she was ashamed of something she had not even done. But now... now she had help. Hope. There was no more need for fear and reclusive actions. From then on, she would have to take responsibilities, help in the care of her Clan, join into battles that she would never had dared think about before to keep the others alive. Deep inside the darkened corridors of her mind, she mentally thanked the auburn-eyed tom next to her, grateful for the help he had given while she had been retreating farther and farther into the shadows of insanity. He had saved her. What more could he ever do? For now, she was just content about his presence being there, close by, and that was it.
A quick, nearly inexistent shake of her head brought her back to the present. It took her only seconds to pick the chain of the conversation back up, and she soon had her thoughts bent on the patrol that she and Hazelblaze had been assigned to do. She gave another nod to the Leader, this time signifying comprehension, as the snow-toned female gave them their instructions. Go particularly heavily on the ThunderClan border, be wary on WindClan, and all the rest of the talk. And then there was the fact about finding other cats. Personally, Spiderbreath would have preferred to do it with only Hazelblaze, but having more come along would also be helpful. She may get to know the other cats better, something she hadn't done since she had been born, and the others just might want to meet her. It wouldn't be easy, but at least she wouldn't go all quiet and empty on them like she had always done. She hoped.
Hazelblaze's answer to Rapidstar's orders caught the strangely colored female by surprise. She returned to what was presently happening, pricking her ears up and changing the direction of her yellow-amber gaze as the siberian tom turned to face her lithe, practically gaunt frame, addressing her. She faltered for a moment, not really knowing what to choose, and, as his tail brushed against her vermilion-streaked coat, decided to take the answer that she preferred from all of her possibilities.
"Well... uh... you choose."
