It was all far too overwhelming.
The normally quiet shadow-like cat with the fragile temper had totally dissapeared, leaving a far different feline in it's place. The she-cat still looked the same of course; her lean elegant body covered in velvety ebon fur, the long whip-like tail criss-crossed with platinum stripes. The cobalt blue eyes where like chips of ice in the harshest of leaf-bare; cold and strong, yet ready to melt for any special cat. The only thing that had changed with her appearance, are on her long front legs, deep scars show the place where gaping cuts once were. The fae's personality on the other paw, had taken on the greatest change in the living world [and maybe the spirit world as well]. Before, this creature didn't care much for other cats, and spent most of her time alone. As a kit, she had been rejected by her foster siblings; spending her kithood with only one friend, her father. She didn't know what had drawn her to Thade, the mottled tom whom she had watched hunt one day. The incident that followed was nearly fatal, and it involed running, a cliff, and a whole lotta blood. After returning to camp, the WindClan warrior had spent a quarter-moon in the Medicine Cat's den with this tom as her only company, and they confessed their wrongs and grew to like each other. Now, when Thade became the deputy of WindClan, something just clicked inside that female's brain. Something that unlocked a secret compartment in her heart; one containing her love. Yes, she loved Thade with all her heart, and had gotten in a quarrel with Aleah, another she-cat from her home clan. All these events had caused emotions, something that this cat hadn't experianced much in her past. Guilt, anger, envy, and love ran thick through her entire body and mind, and all those feelings at once are pretty dang hard to cope with. Especially for a young she-cat, who is going through that time in her life where everything in her life is getting close to falling into place.
A slightly uneven beat thumped lightly and quickly across the baron landscape, the vibrations warning any prey that something was coming, and it was coming in fast. Legs an inky-black blur, the she-cat's slim body and small, defined head were lowered close to the ground, totally aerodynamic. As the sound of crashing water came into earshot, the feline slowed, and soon she had stopped entirely, the loud sounds of the cascading waterfall attacking her ears like enemy warriors. But, dispite the loud sounds, the ebon she-cat found it peaceful here, away from anything and anyone. As that thought entered her pressured mind, she whipped her head around as to look back at the way she had ran in, looking for a shape, a figure, something to signify that Thade was coming. She knew she shouldn't worry; just once she had doubted the tom's speed, and found he could catch up real quick. But, figuring it would be worth the wait once the love of her life appeared, the cat settled in, aqua optics shining.
