As a wind blew across the large rock the figure of a feline could be seen. The black and white she-cat had been traveling on the unknown terra again, looking around as she carefully walked on the rock. Then she slipped, her paws falling beneath her as her chin scraped across the surface of the mineral. The loner hold in a yowl as she quietly got back up, the heat was finally getting to her. A heaved sigh escaped from her as she let out a growl.
'I knew I shouldn't have.. but I had to and now I got my self lost..' Ace though to herself as she kept on her walk. She was frustrated, not beng able to find food nor a good place to hide from the sun's deadly heat.
With another sigh she layed down and looked around. It wasn't good camping out in the middle of this territory but she didn't have much of a choice. 'Why me?' thought the loner again as she looked down at her paws.

A dark brown feline lay stretched under a group of clustering ferns, trying to avoid the midday's heat. Stunning emerald eyes blinked sleepily, looking around her. Fernpaw suddenly sat up straight, catching a smell on the wind. Loner! The apprentice scrambled to her paws, springing away towards the scent.
The glossy dark pelt weaved in and out of grass stalks and bushes, finally halting in front of Ace. "What are you doing here?" Fernpaw spat, fur puffed and hissing so as to appear bigger than she was. This loner was big, but what she made up in bigness, the apprentice made up in agility and swiftness. She was small and compact, and she could use that to her advantage.
For a moment, her green eyes flickered uncertainly as she stared at the rogue. She'd never been in a fight before, she had no idea what it would be like. Still, she had trained hard. Fernpaw squared her shoulders and curled her lip at the loner in disgust. "Well?" she prodded.

The loner looked up to see the dark brown she-cat that had spotted her. 'Why me?!' the she-cat growled in thought as she stood to face her opponent. The she-cat looked around for an escape but found none. Abruptly she turned toward Fernpaw who was still glaring at her. There wasn't much of a chance that she could run away from her, clearly this cat seemed quite fast though small. Finally she decided that battling seemed to be her only escape. "Tired I am of this, but a battle shall bloom and a fight has begun" Ace spoked towards the apprentice as she unsheathed her claws. Her fur bristled as she looked at the other she-cat who had become twice the size she used to be. Quickly the black and white cat got on her hind legs before leaping toward the ThunderClan cat. She opened her jaws as she made an attempt to land on her. A fierce yowl was heard across the land as the battle had started.

Fernpaw screwed up her face in disgust, "Oh look! The loner's trying to speak! Too bad your mummy never was there to teach you!" she sneered. Green eyes widened as Ace came hurtling down towards her, then narrowed as the fierce part of Fernpaw took over.
She easily dodged the scything claws and paws as the loner landed where she had been standing moments before. Fernpaw darted forward, claws gleaming like small daggers. She swiped viciously at the loner before scrambling away. She knew she couldn't hold off this loner for long---her only hope was to make enough noise to draw a ThunderClan cat, or make the rouge mad enough to forget any tactics.
The apprentice glared at Ace, her normally gentle features replaced by a snarling mask. Her fur bristled up in ridges, her ears flat against her dial. Her tail lashed in fury and her claws kneaded the ground.

As claws landed on the spot where the apprentice had been, Ace quickly turned her head to the side to see that the she-cat had dodged her attack. She soon saw the gleaming of daggers coming at her and the loner lowered her head as her back was caught in the other she-cats' claws. The black and white cat dashed a few tail-lengths away from her opponent as she planned for another attack. 'This will only attract other cats from around these parts, maybe I should..' her thoughts were soon combining a plan as she looked toward the other feline. Once more the loner ran toward Fernpaw, coming closer every few seconds until she was finally a few inches apart from the apprentice.
But instead of hitting the Thunderclan cat at that moment she darted to her side. Another growl escaped under her breath as Ace tried clawing at her opponent's belly. She also tried curling her tail around Fernpaw's forepaws in a attempt to trip the other she-cat if she decided to dodge her attacks again. Ace let out a hiss as she came closer to the bristled fur, waiting to see the outcome of this move she pulled on the apprentice.

Fernpaw dodged, narrowly avoided the pawful of sharp claws coming her way. Aces' dew claw, however, caught the apprentice in the belly, tearing through fur and flesh. The pain only served to make the she-cat even more angered.
With a yowl, she had leaped forward, emerald eyes icy and cold. There was no emotion in them anymore. If Fernpaw managed to kill the loner, she wouldn't mourn till the battlefever had left her. Leaping over Ace's tail, the she-cat bit down hard, before leaping away. If she actually connected with the tail she didn't know, nor did she care.
Blood dripped down the she-cat's legs in rivulets, slowly oozing from the wound. Fernpaw ignored the hot, red liquid seeping into her fur, she just kept right on going.

Aces' tail flickered as it felt it's captive escape, quickly wavering out of the grip of jaws. A golden glare followed Fernpaw's quick moves as she jumped out of the way of her opponent. They were both injured, the old wounds on her back were opened once more which only disgruntled and angered her more. Her tail was puffed up like a pine cone as a few drops of her blood landed on quietly on the minerals' surface. The small chirps of a bird could be heard miles off in the horizon as Ace breathed heavily, a memory was painted in her mind at that moment. It quickly reminded her of the efforts she went through to earn the home she lives inside of today...
[glow=teal,2,800][shadow=teal,left,800]The squawking of crows could be heard as rogues made their way to the Two-legs farm. In the front of the barn where tall, red painted doors were slightly opened sat a black and white colored she-cat. As always she waited for the appearance of these cats, but they weren't guests they were more like people looking for their rent when someone hasn't payed it in weeks. Either way, the small clan of five rogues snickered to themselves as the she-cat came into view, their claws already unsheathed as they made their way to the victim. But she had a glint in her eyes this time, and Ace hold in a smile as they padded closer to her. A paw with glinting daggers flew into the air before it landed. As soon as it striked it's target across the back the fight had begun..[/shadow][/glow]
The memory faded as she looked up from her spaced out expression. Ace decided to hunch on her hind legs as she made another leap toward the other she-cat. But she sheathed her claws as she aimed for the chest of Fernpaw, wanting to bowl her opponent over on her back. The scenario around her flew behind the loner as her speed increased toward her opponent.

((Should we have another ThunderClan cat come in and interrupt before one of them ends up being killed? Maybe he could try and stop them, but they're just so into battle that they ignore him or something? What do you think? I'm trying to make it so we just don't get tired of fighting.))
Fernpaw crouched low to the ground, waiting as her enemy flew towards her. At the last moment, the apprentice danced aside, letting the loner pass her. As Ace ran by, carried on by her momentum (I'm supposing. If you think that's powerplaying, tell me and I'll change it), the she-cat lashed out a paw full of deadly needles. If the weapons caught and tore the loner's fur, Fernpaw would be pleased, if they didn't, better luck next time.
The sleek brown she-cat launched herself after the rogue, a bloodcurling snarling errupting from her. Even the apprentice was startled at the noise she had made. It was chilling and horrifying. Claws outstretched and teeth bared, Fernpaw barrelled towards Ace. Her face was an angry mask, fur bristling and tail streaming out behind like a banner. There would be more bloodshed before the day was over!

((Don't worry, Ace doesn't stay mad too long. Anyways, I didn't think that the momentum was powerplaying so you don't need to change it. =3))
In the spot where the apprentice had once stood there was the replacement of nothing more than hot air. Paws landed on the firm surface of the rock before the loner's head took view of what was to her side. Staggering, her muscles braced themselves for the impact of the already blood stained hooks coming at her. A quick shift to the side was able to let her escape with only three gleaming lines of red across her shoulder which started to ache from the injury. A snarl was also caught in the air as her ears took in the rambunctious ((It means loud and disorderly or something like that)) sound that her opponent had cast. Jaws parted as a stressed hiss fluttered through the air after the roar Fernpaw had given. Angered golden oculars burned into emerald ones, they were both covered in the sticky crimson liquid with a few patches of fur missing from their ruffled coat, she could also see that they were both close to becoming fatigued. The glint that had once appeared in the loner's eyes disappeared as the tuxedo she-cat came to her senses. 'Why should I risk my life for something as pitiful as this? This cat is even a kit herself, yet I was impressed by her tactics..' thoughts proceeded to cross her mind as Ace sat, still keeping a eye on the apprentice. "This fight is over, if we are to keep up it would only lead to our deaths, but your unique moves are quite interesting.." Ace took a second to scrape her tongue along her shoulder where the apprentice had hit her, "Let me congratulate a young one as yourself for holding out this battle for so long.." . The black and white head of the feline bobbed in a nod before she made a small bow of respect. "I give my apology to you, I had not meant to cross upon your territory with such ruthlessness nor start such a riot.." she added as her tail cling around her paws.

Fernpaw halted midstep, confusion written across her face as the loner suddenly sat down, licking blood off her paw as if nothing important whatsoever had occurred. The lithe she-cat sat on the ground, but she kept her eyes on Ace, watching her warily. This might be a trick, the apprentice thought. The way she lures Clan cats to their doom.
She needn't have worried however. When the rouge began to talk in a conversational tone, Fernpaw slowly began to relax, her hackles lying flat. She turned her head, licking the blood from her belly, ears trained acutely on the loner.
Fernpaw dipped her head respectfully to the loner, "You have some technique... I've never seen before!" she exclaimed, still breathless from the deadly encounter earlier. She looked admiringly up at Ace, seeming to forget that she had been trying to drive her off a few moments before, "Could you teach me?"
That was Fernpaw. Clawing at your throat one minute, asking you to teach her battle techniques the next. The apprentice cocked her head, regarding Ace with a pleading expression.
