Sunpelt padded into the nursery, her golden fur slightly scratched by the brambles. The warm sunlight streamed down on her, making her seem more golden than usual. Sunpelt searched the nursery. She was looking for Fawnkit and Fernkit. She knew that in a moon, Fernkit would be an apprentice. Fawnkit, on the other hand, would be one in three or so moons. Sunpelt padded over to them, smiling. She was silent, yet her expression spoke for her. How are you? Her smile said calmly. The queen nearby nodded, approving Sunpelt to see them. Sunpelt returned the favor, with a simple nod. She then turned back to the kits.

The sun shone down brightly, bathing the camp in gold. A small earth-colored bundle lay basking in it's warmth. Fernkit's eyes were closed, and a deep purr was rumbling in her throat.
At the sound of approaching pawsteps, her ears twitched and swiveled to take in the sound. At the sudden familiar smell, green eyes binked open dazedly. The kit opened her jaws in a massive yawn, small pointed teeth gleaming white in the light.
Fernkit's eyes turned to see who was approaching, and her green eyes blazed in delight. Her dark pelt rippled smoothly along with her movements as the kit bounced to her paws.
"Sunpelt!" she mewed, a smile playing around her maw. She scampered over to the warrior and nudged the she-cat with her muzzle, a thunderous purr echoing around the nursery, an extraordinary sound coming from her small fluffy body.

Sunpelt smiled at the sleeping kitten. Her golden pelt shined slightly, as she took a few pawsteps, almost leaving the nursery. But, when Sunpelt heard the kit's voice, she turned around to greet her. "Hello Fernkit. Are you ready to be an apprentice?" she asked, eager to hear the kits reply.
Sunpelt didn't remember being a kit that much. She remembered her very early days, when there was only warm, milk, purr, soft, sun. Along with her golden pelt, she had been named after the first word she said, and the first thing she saw - sun. After that was her lazy days, hyper days, bored days, and entertained days. But they were all very similar. Sitting in the nursery, playing with a leaf, or with a friend. Being an apprentice were days of foolishness, gossip, and work. Sunpelt smiled when she remembered those days. Then came her warriorship. She was excited at first, but the things got worse than playing with a leaf. Battles, secrets, and the worst of what you can imagine.
Sunpelt looked down at the kit, and whispered to her, "Savour these days. They won't last long"

Fernkit nodded ecstatically, "I can't wait to be an apprentice!" she mewed. Her ears twitched guiltily as she whispered to Sunpelt, "I've already begun my training . . . . well, sort of. You see, I run and I climb and I try to hunt---inside the camp of course---and I try to strengthen myself." The kit paused and regarded the golden she-cat with serious eyes, "But you won't tell any cat, will you?"
The kit stretched, reveling in the way that her new muscles slipped easily underneath her coat. She blinked and looked at Sunpelt, wondering what she had meant about her fun days not lasting long. What was Sunpelt talking about? What fun days? Being a kit was the most boring experience in the entire world!

(hold on, are we saying that me and Fernkit and I are sisters?)
Then a sound that sounded like one of the members Lion Clan roaring, came behind Sunpelt. "Hello! What do you what to play"?Fawnkit asked eagerly."Can we play fight to prepare us to be apprentesis and fight enmy warriors? Please say yes Sunpelt, please"?! Looking deep into Sunpelt's eyes with her own emerald eyes. Fawnkit looked at her mother to get the o.k. singh to see if it was o.k. Her mother noded aproovenly but Fawnkit knew that her mother would probably what to talk about somthing boring with the other queens. So trotted out cuase if they stade they sould have to talk quitly and not do a couple rounds of mock play. She walked outside into the warm sunlight. Her white spots on her sides and on the top of her tail and white paws stud out from her fawn colored pelt. "Come on Fernkit and Sun;plet"! Can you mabey take us to the thunder path"? She meowed. Fawnkit twiched her tail trying to get the fly the tip of her tail.

Fernkit cast a cheerful eye of the small kit's body. Compared to this kit, Fernkit felt far superior in life. She liked to prance around, pretending she was something she was not, it gave her an odd feeling of pleasure. She scampered up to Fawnkit and mewed, "Wait! You can't go without me!" Then she skidded to a halt and looked toward Sunpelt, allowing her eyes to grow big as she looked pleadingly up at the warrior.
"Please? May we go? Pleeeaaassse?" she asked, ears flicking in restrained delight. Fernkit nudged Fawnkit, the kits would never get to the Thunderpath if the other kit didn't ask along with her.

The she-cat nodded, silently approving of Fernkit's plan. Sunpelt let a laugh roll out of her mouth, like a warm breeze. Her joyous smile showed that she couldn't wait to have these two along side her as warriors. That was when the questions came.
Sunpelt stepped backwards with grace, as the kits bounded up on her.
"Hold it hold it!" Sunpelt yowled, and hoped that the kits would silence. "I would love to bring you two to the Thunderpath, but isn't that a little dangerous for kits? Wouldn't you rather go to the Sunningrocks, or the Owltree? What about the Sandy Hollow? Wouldn't that be more fun, rather than going to the stinky old Thunderpath?" Sunpelt continued, constantly trying to change the kit's minds.
Sighing, Sunpelt waited for the two of them to calm down. If they didn't listen to this, it was a firm No, and than going to see the clan leader.
Sunpelt circled the nursery, constantly keeping away from the bouncy kits.
(I am not sure if that is 10 non-diolouge sentances. Also,Fawnkit, check your spelling.)

Fernkit tipped her head to one side, as if considering. After several moments, the kit slowly nodded her head.
"Okay," she began hesitantly, then with more enthusiasm she yowled, "Yeah! Let's go see the Sandy Hollow! I'm going to be training there soon!"
She bounced around the warrior, her earth-colored pelt showing off it's glossy hue in the sunlight. The kit frisked to a stop and looked up in Sunpelt's eyes and mewed, "Please? Please can we go now? Pleeeaaassee?"
Fernkit's tail lashed in delight as her ear swiveled from Sunpelt to Fawnkit and back to Sunpelt. She looked up pleadingly into the warrior's face, "We'll promise we'll be good!"

Sunpelt thought about it for some time, before concluding to her final desicion. "Alright then you two. Lets go." she said, smiling. "Just let me tell the leader about this." (I am not really going to. She is just... walking out, saying it, and hopefully the thunderclan leader will come in and read this.) Sunpelt padded away, sighing in relief. She was happy that the kits wanted to go somewhere. Of course, she had wanted to go away to when she was a kit. Didn't we all? Sunepelt reached the leaders den. She mreowed, asking if she could enter. After telling the Thunderclan leader, she padded back to the kits.
"Well, lets get a move on you two! And you have to be quiet, We might be able to catch some prey if you two stay shut!" Sunpelt laughed. And with that, she walked towards the camp entrance. She really badly hoped she would get Fernkit as her apprentice.

Fernkit's eyes sparkled in delight. "Yes!" She yowled. "Come on, Fawnkit!" Her glossy pelt quivered as a tremendous purr rumbled up in her throat. Her tail stuck straight up like an exclamation point as she pranced after Sunpelt.
She swiveled her ears, searching for the sound of pawsteps behind her. When she heard none, she tilted her head, concentrating hard. Nope. There was none. Fernkit turned her head and looked at Fawnkit questioningly.
"Fawnkit? Come on!"

"She'll catch up." Sunpelt added, and padded away. (I am going to go post at the Sandy Hollow, where the rest of this post will be)
