The late afternoon sun struck down on the Thunderclan camp as the sun began to sink over the horizon.. As bright shards of light fell down from the sky, a lone figure stalked from his den, peered around the clearing - his bright blue eyes scanning. The smooth texture under his paws, smooth and warm, relaxed Snowstar's pawpads. Snowstar lucidly slipped across the floor, agile pawsteps making no noise as they pattered over the floorboards. The sun touching his pelt ever so softly, the sun warmed him and he smiled to himself, glad that today wasn't one of rain or hail, but bright warmth.
The tom's white pelt swayed as a light breeze, a bit cold, for it was leaf-fall, stirred the clearing. Even as his ears and paws grew chilled he didn't let his thoughts wander to other things. He had to keep optimistic for the sake of his clan and other then some cold breezes now and then, this was a peaceful, warm day. Light pallid tail lightly sweeping his lithe paws, Snowstar took in a deep breath. The thick scents of the forest filled his nostrils as the clean, fresh air began to clear away the unhappy thoughts of his mind. This was supposed to be a day to celebrate because of the event that was about to take place. With one quick, graceful bound he landed on Highrock and flexed his paws under the smooth texture, unsheathing his claws for a moment - though it left no such mark. Snowstar lifted hishead once more, confidence rising like a lion inside him, for the first time in moons since his Leadership. "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting."
His eyes flickered across the camp, his blue eyes searching for something or someone speacial. This was going to be his day and he felt happy for the young kit. Today, he would receive his apprentice name, but even as most would not know it, this was different from the others he had held before. Today was a day to accept someone knew into the clan, one with a great destiny.

Strongkit leaped over a few brownish leaves to get to the highrock. Well l I know now for sure leaf-fall is here, and leaf-bear is coming....Strongkit thought. Then he saw his brother striding across the clearing. Strongkit stopped in front of the highrock and felt a chill of cold when a strong breeze, then smelled the air. It was fresh with the smells of leaf-fall, like leaves and trees, and fresh-kill. Then realized that he was right in front of the highrock and took a few steps back, to sit next to his brother Their black fur clinging to each other.. "I wonder what this is all about." Strongkit whispered. "Who knows but Snowstar and StarClan." Demonkit whispered back. Strongkit looked around the clearing and saw cats coming out of the dens and below the highrock. Demonkit sat playing with his paws next to him, and couldn't help noticing he was doing the same. Then he pressed harder against his brother, as if a signal, they both stopped playing with their paws. Then he gazed up at the highrock and wished he knew what was about to happen. Maybe their would be a new apprentice! That would be cool! And caught himself playing with his paws even harder then before. Then he stopped and waited silently with his paws beside each other not moving one bit, and shivered again as another cold breeze went by.

Silverkit followed her mother and sat down beside her. Her mother always took her to meetings, she wanted Silverkit to learn as much about the clan life as she could. "What do you think the meeting is about?" Silverkit asked. She loved going to meeting's and hearing about things. She loved listing to the leader. Snowstar was a great leader he always did the right thing, she admired him. I wish could be like him. She thought. That would be great to be his apprentice! "I'm not sure." Her mothers voice broke her thoughts. "But it seems important. "You say that about every meeting." Silverkit said playfully. "Yes, but every meeting is important." Mistypelt said in the same playful voice. They sat there waiting for the rest of the cats to gather. Silverkit watched the cats gather, they all looked confused, but ready to learn why the meeting was called. She watched as two kits from the nursery, one seemed very energetic, running with interest. One seemed less energetic, more like he didn't really care. Brothers probably. She thought. But they don't act the same. But how should I know what it's like to have brothers, or sisters. She now more then ever wanted a sister to share her thoughts with, her dreams, to be close to.What about mother? A thought came in her head. She's close to you, she knows your dreams, and your thoughts. She looked up at her mother, she realized that she was like a sister to me, and a mother. She rubbed her pelt against her mothers lovingly.
(I hope thats good..I'm sorry...)

Stop now. Demonkit, that post has three lines. It needs seven more. You read the rules, no? You should know this. Sliverkit, please change your name to Silverkit. You also have around four lines, not counting dialogue or entering. Please add to that. Thank you.

Rippedbelly came out her den and hurried over towards Highrock. Her heart started to beat faster as she near it. A few cats had already gathered below, all sat waiting to hear what the meeting was about. She was getting nervous, this was her first time but she will to make it work.
She weaved through the cats until she got to the front; she glanced up to Snowstar questioningly, one paw up ready to be put down. Should she stay here with the rest or join him and sit beside him? Rippedbelly wasn't sure but inside she wished to remain here so that she wouldn't have to meet the many eyes which were searching for answers.

Ironkit was practically leaping out of his fur in anxiousness ((is that a word?)). It was the night of his apprentice ceremony! He was going to be a medicine cat! Just what he'd always dreamed of. He'd known since his birth that StarClan had set his path towards herbs and healing. And now he was starting to follow that path. Crystalheart padded up to her son with such pride in her eyes. "Congradulations, Ironkit! Ironpaw, how does that sound?" Ironkit could tell that his mother was just as anxious as he was. Crystalheart didn't seem to know what to do, so she bent down and smoothed out her sons ruffled fur. Ironkit looked towards Highrock to see Snowstar standing there. The sun was just setting over the tips of the soon to be bare trees. The branches danced back and forth in the wind, splaying an array of colors and shadows across the camp. Ironkit padded towards Highrock and sat down next to his father towards the front of the crowd, and he waited for his leader to start the meeting.

Demonkit saw Ironkit coming up with his mother, Ironkit's fur was washed very carefully he saw and knew at once this was his ceremony. He had thought that this would be his, but didn't know for sure. But as soon as he saw him like this and saw the anxious gleam in his eye and the proud look in his mothers he knew this was his ceremony. And couldn't wait for his own apprentice ceremony. Then looked up at Snowstar and back down looking at the rest of the crowd that had gathered, excitement rushing through him and couldn't help feeling annoyed at everyone taking so long then calmed down as his brother pushed against him and look as excited as he was and calmed down. Demonkit shivered as a cold breeze swept by. But the sun was out and hot on his back. This is a perfect day to have a ceremony! He smelled the fresh scents of the forest and looked around impatiently for more cats to come. Then he looked up again at Snowstar, waiting looking at his paws, looking at the crowd of cats that had gathered, and then again up at Snowstar.

Eyes scanning the clearing, Snowstar lifted his head carefully and silently flicked his ears, as he patiently waited for the remaining cats to gather. At the corner of his eye he spotted Rippedbelly, the medicine cat begin to come into view and he smiled, nodding at her appearance. He gently wrapped his tail over his paws again and he lifted his head higher, standing streight into a position where he could see all. Others soon came into view, Silverkit, Demonkit and Strongkit. The pallid tom didn't make any other movements to dismiss the silver feline, nor did he do anything to make the other black brothers back away either. He knew already that it wasn't there place to stand before him, now at the ceremony, but there intentions couldn't be possibly bad at such a young age. Turning his head, he gave their mother's a warning glance for the kits and he turned his sharply away, sastifsfied. He chuckled softly at the kits curiousness and anxiety as a pleasant expression crossed his face.
Ears pricked, he turned his head to see the medicine cat look at him with confusion. He looked at her, and flicked his tail for her to stay where she was - for the moment atleast. He paused, his head held high and body posture streightened. Finally what or who he had been waiting for had come. Silently, he watched Crystalheart come foward and taking her spot with a prideful look at his son. Next was Poisonheart, taking a seat beside his mate with the same prideful look that she held. Snowstar understood this completly for he knew that they must be proud for what their son had accomplished so far or will do, as well as what he was going to be now, as an apprentice. He blinked as Ironkit came into view, bouncing with anxiety and happiness. Snowstar grinned and gave him a comforting nod, gathering his voice to speak.
" I beleive it is time for a speacial ceremony to take place. Young Ironkit had many adventures in his kit-hood, including when he was stolen by Twolegs. It is now time that he should receive his apprentice name. However, unlike most apprentices your age, you have a different destiny layed out for you, an important one. Rippedbelly has informed me that she is ready to take on an apprentice and that Ironkit would be the perfect one for the job. So, from now one Ironkit, you shall be known as Ironpaw until you receive your medicine cat's name. Ironpaw you will train under the teachings of our medicine cat, Rippedbelly and become the official medicine cat apprentice of Thunderclan. "
Snowstar paused, looking at the pair as they touched noses and he scanned crowd silently waiting for their expression. He hoped that they wouldn't be so surprised or disagree with his idea. Shaking the thought of quickly, he gave the two a comforting smile and flicked with his tail for them to touch noses.
{ Did I do that right? }

((I think that's right. YOu were close on the name; it's Poisonclaw, not Poisonheart.))
Ironpaw padded up to Rippedbelly and touched noses with the she-cat. He couldn't believe it! He was a medicine cat! He would sleep in a warm den with Rippedbelly, he would heal the Clan, and walk close to StarClan. Huhh! Would StarClan send him a dream tonight? Oh, he hoped so. But Ironpaw wanted to be lively and ready for tommorow, his first day as an apprentice. and he was sure the medicine cat didn't want to be bombarded with questions, so he left Rippedbelly alone...for now.
Poisonclaw couldn't believe it! His son wasn't going to be a warrior! He would be even better! A medicine cat. Wow. And Rippedbelly would make a very fine mentor for his son. For any cat really. Poisonclaw leaned into his mate, licking her behind the ear, as their son pranced around the camp, happy as could be.

[best i could think of today. Brain dead....]
Rippedbelly watched the young tom as he happily walked about the camp. Ironpaw looked to be a very interesting young cat that would very easily catch on to things; his parents sat watching filled with pride. Her green study him, wondering, and thinking when the best time to start his training.
She then suddenly remembered the herds she had buried a few hours before, “This would be a good time to talk with him.” Rippedbelly muttered to herself. She got up and walked over towards Ironpaw’s parents, “Hello. I hope you don’t mind if I take Ironpaw to help me get some buried herds…there near Sunningrocks.” Rippedbelly sat down; I should call him over so his mother or father doesn’t have too.
She looked over and saw Ironpaw was still prancing and smiled, “Ironpaw can you come here please?” She sat waiting for him and with a gentle voice spoken to Ironpaw's mother, Crystalheart. You must be proud of him, Crystalheart. StarClan should be happy with this choice, I know that I am."

"...proud of him, Crystalheart. StarClan should be happy with this choice, I know that I am." Ironpaw heard Rippedbelly finish her sentence as he pranced up to her, and his murky brown eyes lit up with happiness. She doesn't even really know me and she already likes me! Ironpaw sat down next to his mother and father and watched them converse with the medicine cat. His father didn't say much, but Ironpaw caught him stealing glimpses at him. Ironpaw wasn't sure, but was that. . .disappointement in his father's eyes? No. That can't be. He's always wanted me to be a warrior, but shouldn't he be happy that I'm an apprentice? No. That simply can't be disappointment. But it was.
Poisonclaw watched his mate and the clan medicine cat talk about his sons apprenticship ((sp?)). But Poisonclaw wasn't really listening. Why did StarClan choose my son to be a medicine cat? He's quick to learn and doesn't forget things easily, but. . . Poisonclaw glanced over at his son. Why couldn't he be a warrior? Now he'll never know love. . . or be allowed to have it at least. The tom looked at the sky, now turning a dark navy. No! Stop it! You're son's an apprentice and he's happy with the path StarClan has laid out for him. You should be happy too! Poisonclaw looked at his son, gleaming with pride, and smiled.
"Thank you, Rippedbelly. We are very proud of our son. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine Ironpaw being a medicine cat! But I'm sure that he will be happy under your training. But I would like to ask if Ironpaw could sleep with me tonight. I know he's not supposed to, but all three of us have had a tiring day, and I just want to sleep with my kit, one last time." Crystalheart looked at the medicine cat with a parental glow in her eyes, not believing she would never sleep with her son again, and waited for the she-cat's reply.
