The light blue orbs disappeared from veiw as Artemis closed her eyes. Her quick mind pondered the information just recieved from Xarae. Her bright orbs were now in sight again, and she slowly nodded her head. "Yes...WindClan would be best." Was her quiet reply. Her ear flicked at impatience with Atyas remark. She never liked the NightClan she-cat. She was just a power-hungry fool with a grudge against toms. Artemis hissed softly, lifting her lips into a snarl and baring her ivory fangs. "We're only looking to expand our borders, not looking for unnecessary battle. If we do go into battle,it will preferably be ended without half of NightClan dead!" She snarled, her head swiveling in the direction of Atya. This cat is out of her mind, Artemis thought, anger boiling inside of her. The she-cat had no idea what was going on in that crooked mind of Atya's,but she was at the conclusion where it had to do with becoming leader. Her Clan would probably die quick,if she was to become one. Knowing Atya, she would probably banish all toms from her Clan. Without toms, there would be no kits. And without kits.... There would be no future.

I agree with Xarae and Artemis, thought Twilightsilver silently from the bushes. WindClan is weak. They would never suspect an attack, and would fall quickly. Twilightsilver bent her head down to lick a silvery forepaw. She hated being beautiful. It wouldn't help much with her clan's mistique, although she did have the power to seduce most toms, if she ever chose to do that. She twitched an ear to hear a mouse scurry through the underbrush directly to the right of her. Smart mouse, she thought. Although maybe not so smart to wander so close. Twilightsilver remained absolutely motionless, the only sound in the area was of the cats talking in the clearing, and the crickets chirping in the distance. Stupid, annoying bugs! thought the she-cat. She despised all who dared to live, much less make noise when she wanted quiet. She half heard half sensed the mouse move in the underbrush. She may be downwind of the pathetic creature, but even the most brainless bit of prey would realize there was a cat in front of them. Nevertheless the mouse continued to collect seeds for the approaching Leaf-bare. Twilightsilver inhaled the tantilizing aroma of mouse, close as it was, and felt her hind leg muscles tighten involuntarily in anticipation for the kill. She slowly and carefully turned her head slightly sideways, seeing the mouse. It was plump and juicy, the kind of kill a Clan cat would enjoy, but she was not a true clan cat, not like those nice forest cats. She desired cat meat, or fox or badger, and would stop at nothing to kill one if she had scented one. As it was, she was quite hungry, and wanted this mouse. Badly. Swiftly and silently she exploded upon the mouse killing it before it even realized that there was a cat there, and she settled down to eat her kill. Brutally ripping the mouse as she bit into it, she turned her mind back to the discussion of the cats she was listening to. Then again, why attack WindClan while they are weak? Why not show ourselves to give them a bit of a scare, right after their so-called 'gathering' so they have no oportunity to tell the other clans. We could take them out one by one, with no one ever knowing the difference, thought Twilightsilver. She again bit into the mouse and consumed the last bit of it. Hastily, she stood up and noisily entered the clearing. She approached the cats, and said, "Then again, why attack WindClan now when we can scare them a bit, to let them try and give us a fight. What fun is it if we attack and kill them without them even having a chance to try," Twilightsilver said to the cats before her, eyes glittering maliciously.

Agony let the smugness return to her grin as she felt Atya's hard stare on her back. She knew the other wanted to kill her, for whatever reason she had. But the tabby feline would not be easy to take out of the picture. Atya may be strong and violent, but it didn't look as if she ever used her brain. However, when one would have just contented themselves with being smug and scoffing at the cat's hair-brained ideas of attacks, Agony was also alert. Atya may be bulky and look not very smart compared to her, but she could still be fast. And speed is what kills the prey. A spark of anger glinted in the mad she-cat's eyes as she saw Atya lunge at Zeik, a snarl escaping her throat, even though she did not truly touch the tom. Agony hissed at the feline's foolishness, ebony pupils diminishing in the scornful fury she held for the black cat. Killing the Leader would annihilate Nightclan. Its members would wander about, broken up from their lack of a good Leader. But it would be even worse if Atya led the Clan. All she would do is force the others to kill, kill, kill, without a thought about the consequences. Agony snorted at her, and then those twin pools of stagnant water shifted to look at the feline that had just appeared a few mouse-lengths away. Twilightsilver. She stayed in the shadows, leaning forwards with her ears pricked to hear the talk of the other cats. Agony soon lost her interest in her, and her mossy orbs changed direction once again. Xarae had taken the floor, and spoke what she thought. The brown and black striped feline knew this would end in a raging battle of opinions, but it would probably be an interesting debate compared to the usual talk that went around a Clan. Her ears pricked, attention roused, she shifted her position to hear the others better. Attack Windclan first? Well, why not? After all, it is true that they have the largest territory...though it isn't especially filled with good prey. We'd starve. A grimace crossed the she-cat's face as she remembered the rank taste of lean rabbit-flesh. She'd left it to rot, not really caring if Windclan found it. She would be far away when they did, and would use all her tricks to lose them if they followed. But, in the end, they didn't. All the better for me. For once, the voice did not speak up. She enjoyed the silence in her head, a smirk of satisfaction creeping up her muzzle again. Her eyes gleamed with smugness. If the voice was silenced, it meant she was beginning to take control over her life. Onlooking cats would probably have raised their eyebrows at her strange behaviour. first actiong interested, then grimacing, then grinning as if she'd just killed a badger all by herself. Insane was what she was. Another voice piped up. It was Artemis, one of the newer members. She had chosen Riverclan as the first victim. Yes, maybe. They do have plenty of prey. But their terrain is too flat for my liking, and I've heard whispers from the trees saying that the two-legs had taken over the Bridge and were dumping poisons into the water. So it is also a good, but dangerous, choice. Agony had still not spoken, though she was mulling each Clan, their advantages and disadvantages, problems, consequences of choosing them first. The silver-bellied feline's ears flicked to the side as she listened to Atya's proposal, filled with her usual violent enthusiasm. Agony snorted as she hissed at the assembled cats for no reason. She may be mad, but at least she used her wits, unlike that other sorry excuse for a she-cat. Xarae spoke again, disapproving, as Agony was, of Atya's idea. The black-banded feline smirked smugly at her stubborn opponent, satisfied with the fact that at least one other cat was on the same side she was. Then, as the same feline spoke once more, the mad she-cat nodded in agreement. Sentries should be posted at the Gathering. Then Nightclan would be able to muster all the information they could about each Clan, and attack them according to this. Artemis spoke for the second time. She had changed her opinion, going along with the idea that Windclan was the best choice. Agony smirked once more, throwing a look of pure satisfaction at Atya as the young she-cat hissed at the brawny animal. Then it was Twilightsilver who spoke up. The tabby feline payed extra attention to the she-cat, for she had not yet said her piece. Her idea was tempting, and more looked-over than Atya's. Scare the Clans? Yes, that might work. But I know these cats. They get so caught up with what they call 'honor' and 'loyalty' that they serve their Clan no matter what. We could try this, though. Agony nodded slightly, eyes narrowed as she thought about her on decision. The thought finally crawled into her head, and she inspected it from all sides before proposing her own idea. "I think many of these choices are fine and well, though some do go under my expectations." At this, she shot a glance of hatred intermixed with malicious pleasure at Atya. "But I have my own thoughts to put forwards. I think we should attack all the Clans, simultaneously, in lightning-quick battles. Patrols are a good target, as well as apprentices and their mentors. At the same time, we could kill some loners and put their bodies where the Clans are sure to find them. Attacking the camp while it is weaked and when the warriors are at the gathering is also something we should do. Xarae's idea of watching the Gathering goes into this well." She motioned to the silver-black she-cat before continuing. "We will find out if any diseases have struck, or if natural disasters have weakened cats. If many warriors, or at least most of them, need to be healed or are gone hunting, then we can attack."

A grin formed on Artemis' maw as she listened to Agony. The she-cat was smart. Insane, but smart. What difference did it make? All NightClan cats were insane, but Agony was one of those cats who was smart. Atya certainly didn't have that wonderful trait. Her light blue eyes flickered with amusement as she considered the plan over again. Like picking them off,one by one... The insane grin returned to Artemis' face, her tail lashing with excitement. This was it! It was an excellent battle-plan,well thought out,as Agony's plans always were, and the killing rush that Atya could use to satisfy her insane needs.Bloodspill,insanity,cunnning-what more could one expect from a NightClan battle plan? "Brilliant...", came Artemis' hushed tone. The she-cat was obviously pleased,by the queer grin on her face. Her hooked claws sheathed and unsheathed,a sign of pure impatience. After NightClan's attack... The Clans would be annihilated. Never again to live by their Warrior Code.

((Isn't everyone smart, cunning and deathly? Sorry 'bout the mix-up with cats *scurries off to fix it*)) Forget my idea, thought Twilightsilver. Agony's is perfect Twilightsilver allowed a spark into her eyes of a appreciative glint, but was soon extinguished, and mentally disaplined. Instead, malicousness replaced the appreciative glint in her silver-blue eyes. An attack such as the ones suggested by Agony would be perfect. They would never have a chance to flinch. It wrapped in her's and Xarae's idea into one, with a few spikes of malevolence. Internally, Twilightspirit grinned at the thought of scaring the cats with dead loners. On the outside, she remained as cold and emotionless as a rock, inpenetrable through force, although gradually shaped over time. That partially happened to her when she was raised here, in DarkClan. Living as a kit in some other clan, she might have forgotten her cruel past and moved on. Here, her hatred and malice grew, cultured by the greed and brutality of the hurting cats around her. They, like her, chose to harden, and let their past make them strong, unlike those yellow-bellied Clan cats. Twilightsilver let her mind wander back to the attack. Suddenly, her brow furrowed, shattering her iron facial expressions, as she came upon a flaw in Agony's plan. Voicing her thoughts aloud, she said, "What about our numbers? I know we are tough cats, and as close to invincible as possible, but how will seven cats be able to attack all four clans almost simotaniously?(sp?)" As soon as she said this, she glanced over at her leader, Zeik. What was he thinking? Why hadn't he spoken? Twilightsilver respected him deeply, but others will start to see him as weak if he wouldn't govern his own clan, small as it was. She blinked as a way of clearing the unloyal thoughts from her mind, and turned her frost-tipped muzzle to the group of cats in front of her. She swiveled one ear in Zeik's direction, to catch any word in case he voiced his command. ((Wow! You guys have me whipping out the Thesaurus! These are some of the longest posts I've typed. I'm glad I finally found a roleplaying site that is advanced! I'm so recommending this site to all the people I know that are decent roleplayers.))

It seemed like Agony's plan pleased some cats. Artemis obviously liked it. You could tell by the smile on her face, and the excited lashing of her tail in the air. Twilightsilver also showed her approval-at least for a couple of seconds. But then she seemed to find something wrong in the tabby she-cat's battle-plans. She inwardly slapped herself for not having thought about it. Small mistakes like this could bring Nightclan swirling down in a spiral of defeat. She gave a slight nod to the other, showing her gratitude in pointing out the mistake, though she did feel angry for not having been able to see it that way first. Her mind began clicking again, mulling over this new problem that had aroused. As yet another idea imerged her mind, a quiet smile of smug satisfaction crept up her maw, turning quickly into an over-sized grin of malicious excitement. "I've seen that some cats do not enjoy their stay in the Clan. We could go seek them. They will be able to help us destroy the Clan from the inside while we attack from out. That way, only a small number of us need to go to each Clan. The most cats will go to the strongest Clans, the least to the weakest. We will gain more cats as our strength grows, I can feel it." A satisfied nod shook her head again, and the grin only grew wider. Now, all that needed to happen is for Zeik to approve of an idea, whichever it was.

"Yes, we could send out elite to infiltrate, spreading seeds of misery and dismay, let them know Nightclan is on the prowl. We will stalk the darkness." She smirked. "We could get followers, but just a few are needed to report to our scouts at gatherings and such. Bu then our plan would almost work itself out. Then we could from there, gather the indvidual plans each Clan might plot, and turn them against eachother. Have them do the work for us. And a few loner corpses wouldn't hurt a well." She cackled. It was a hollow laugh that echoed her cruel insanity. Her tail twitched, she liked this idea, she liked Artemis's idea, and she liked Agony's idea. Put them together with hers, work out the seams. And it was flawless! Fool-proof! Nothing could stop them from prowling the shadows at will, killing as they might, sipping the warm blood as they pleased. It seemed to be a bright furture for the Nightclan cats. And an especially bleak one for the clans. In fact, they could have a party of cats, six to each, monitor each clan after they took over. Make sure no cats were spreading seeds of hope and light. They would be dimished in their wild torrent of madness, yet cunning, catious, but bold actions. The old ways would die.
