[[-tackleglomps- Yeh! You ish back! <33]]
Whazzat? Wha? The young apprentice's mind was reeling, the rush of training mixed with the hot sun couldn't be a good mix. Blackpaw was known to get irritable and very hyper with a mixture like that; but Thade didn't know that did he? Well, sooner or later he'd find out, and the young she-cat had a feeling that it would be a day Thade would return to camp with hot steam blowing from his ears. It took a few moments for the young feline to calm herself down, and then took some time to think about the question she had been asked. "Well, I didn't really think about how you would react, so I ended up being thrown through the air." She emphasized the 'thrown', the fae was getting irritable already.

((S'okay))
Thade frowned, staring down at the kit as she quipped her response. He wasn't going to be the one to back down. Nooo. He was the mentor, wasn't he? If Blackpaw didn't figure that out, she'd be running back to camp with her tail between her legs, ki-yiing ((I don't think that's a word)) like a pitiful Twoleg dog.
"Technically, you weren't thrown into the air, you were batted." The tom sniffed in a pretense of arrogance, "Sometimes I don't know the limits of my own strength. Now, what did you feel me do when I batted you out of the air?"

Blackpaw softened her emerald gaze almost guiltily, yeah, she knew she was irritating when she got riled up. At this point, the apprentice had probably gotten in up to her neck in her mentor's fustration, Thade was most likely going to send back all kinds of scathing comments, but the young she-cat was ready for him. But, this was a full grown tom that didn't have too much patience [at least she didn't think so] that she was dealing with here. She couldn't even imagine her mentor loving a she-cat, and if he did, that fae must be crazy! [[Hehe xDD]] For a moment Blackpaw stared straight into his amber optics, then chuckled outloud to herself, just to make him wonder. Then she answered his question. "Well, you definately shifted my weight over with that hugemongous paw of yours. You have the weight advantage."

"Of course I have the weight advantage!" Thade snapped back, thoroughly irritated. "Did you think I was still a naive little apprentice who doesn't know anything?" He took a few deep breaths to calm himself, by StarClan, what had he gotten himself into?
"Now, let's try that again." If Blackpaw wasn't careful, a pawful of claws would batt her out of the air next time, instead of a soft paw. Muttering under his breath, the tom stalked off into the shadow of a brush to await the apprentices' attack.

"No." It was the most sullen word the apprentice had said all day. Blackpaw was getting hot, and even though a cool wind had started up, the sun's rays paid no mercy toward the young black-furred cat. The femme sighed in fustration and exhaustion, making sure it wasn't loud for the retreating tom to her. The one thing the feline didn't want to happen, was to make her mentor think she wasn't tough enough to handle a little sun. Once she thought Thade was seated far enough away, she sunk to the ground, and gathered as much power as she could in her haunches. After pausing to pin-point the male's position, she sprang forward, awakwardly long legs churning up the turf beneath her. Ever so slowly, she eased off to the side, making it look like the apprentice was going to miss her target completely. Staying on her off-centered course, she leapt into the air, coming down smoothly on the ground below her. Swiftly she side-jumped towards her mentor, to which she didn't know if she was going to hit him or not. C'mon! Her mind pleaded. Let me get just one right!
