((Oooh! *claps hands delightedly* I love it! Amazing! Hey, Slagar... *looks thoughtfully into the distance* Did you ever read the Redwall books?))
Thade grinned, plopping himself down besides his newfound friend. "Oh, I wouldn't say that." He mused thoughtfully, mischeif dancing on his face, "I'd say that you already have enough flab for two kittypets!" he teased. He lunged forward hungrily, sinking claws and fangs into his prey.
The tom closed his eyes blissfully, reveling in the warm tastes rolling throughout his mouth. He swallowed, then tore off another large chunk for more.

((Yeah, I have. They're really good, they tie with Artemis Fowl for my second favorite series. Warriors being #1 of course! XD)) Black ears flattened with mock anger at Thade's tease, and the she-cat took another ravenous bite of the rabbit. A sudden burst of some kind of emotion flooded through her, she couldn't quiet put a claw on what it was. Whatever it was, it caused the normally serious warrior, to suddenly act very different. After swallowing her bite of prey, she pricked her ears forward, tilted her head, and a dumb, innocent look came over her eyes. Voice now high pitched, and a cutesy smile set on her jaw, words just began to flood out of her mouth. "Yes, indeed, I am a soft little kitty-pet! Why look, my food is all gone! Deary me! I shall just sit my fat rump down here," To emphasize, she wriggled her hind legs, in a motion of sitting, " and call for some more! Mrrow! Mrreeee! Mrreeoooww!" At the end of her squeals, she stole a glance at the fresh-prey, and fake horror swam in her eyes, and distorted her face. "Oh dear! How barbaric, killing poor rabbits! They are the makers of my dry, rabbit-dropping shaped food!" Face turning back to normal, and eyes once more friendly yet fiery, Shadepelt turned to her friend, and grinned like a kit that has just pleased it's mother. Head bent down to take another bit of prey, she stopped, and lifted her eyes to look at the tom. With a purr mixed in with her words, blue orbs glowed with amusement. "Just call me little Twinkle-paws Mousy Plump-bottom! That is, if you want to be ripped to shreds on the spot!" ((Wow, and here I thought I was brain-dead! ))

((Yeah, I like them too. Did you get your cat's name from that weird fox/mutated thing, Slagar?))
Thade watched in amazement as the black, calm she-cat in front of him transformed into a playful (yet plump) kittypet. Not wanting to be left out, he mewed, "My Twoleg feeds me from a can!" he boasted, inwardly shuddering at the horendous idea of it. When Shadepelt introduced herself as Twinkle-paws Mousey Plump-bottom, he grinned impishly and mewed politely, "How do you do, Twinkle-paws Mousey Plump-bottom? I am Fluffer McKitty." He chuckled, and buried his muzzle in the remains of his fresh-kill. Gulping the rest down hastily, he swiped a tongue across his chops and mewed, "What now? Twinkle-paws."

((Heh, ya. I like him, right now I'm reading about his mother and him in the origanal Redwall. I likeh foxes XD))
Ears pinned back in amused irritation, the lithe feline growled in good humor, but with a tint of annoyance in her voice, "You better feel lucky that I can't move! I would really give you some scar---scathing words to think about!" The warrior had hesitated in saying scars, even though it was in humor, she couldn't ever hurt Thade. Teasing was fine, but she would never physically wound him in any possible way, save what she had already done. Concerned eyes turned to his back paw, the one that had been pouring blood some time ago.
Having completely forgotten about her own wounds, she turned her head and bored her steely stare into her haunches, daring them not to recover soon. A pulsing, throbbing head-ache had started to thump at her crainium, causing her to visibly show pain throughout her eyes. What I would give for a lick of water! Shadepelt had a feeling her aching head was probably caused by lack of water, but she didn't want to complain. Diciding to wait until some-cat sent an apprentice up to give her some water-soaked moss, she tried to forget about the pain and finish her prey. Ravenously gulping down the last bits, she pushed aside the fur and bones, so they wern't in the way. With nothing really to say at the currant moment, she simply sent a warm smile her friend's way, hoping he hadn't seen her pain-filled oculars.

((Yeah, really good books. Sooo . . . no mean to be pushy, but when do they become inseperable friends, like how he was with Kola? Thade and Shadeh, I mean. Unless that's not A-Okay with you. And, do you want to go farther than that, if you want them to go that far at all?))
Thade grinned, about to toss back a retort when he noticed how Shadepelt tactfully avoided using anything that had to do with physical injuries. He nudged her, amusement splitting his features into one happy grin, a major lapse for him. The mottled tom flicked his tail quickly, the tip switching at the black she-cat's ears.
"Why so glum?" he teased, suddenly dropping his head on his paws, eyes sad and troubled, bottom lip sticking out and trembling. He sighed heavily, "Geez, you brought me down like a rock, Shade."
Hey, our names rhyme! the tom thought. Shade and Thade, Thade and Shade. Thade grew suddenly emberassed for thinking of that simple rhyme. Who knew? Any cat who didn't know the two well could've twisted his affectionate words to mean something deeper. The mottled tom shook his head, banishing those thoughts with a toss of his finely chiseled head.
He looked across at Shadepelt's clear green eyes, and saw them clouded with pain. Headache, the tom thought, acurately guessing. Curse this hot weather! It brings all sorts of troubles. Thade joked, trying to lighten the suddenly quiet mood in the silent den, "I'd get you some water, bit I can't exactly walk right now."

(YAY! Your back! No one was on here for awhile, it was unbearable! Now I can finally RP with ya! About the friendship thing, that's fine with me! They could become unseperable friends when the get out of the med. cat's den, maybe? It's fine with me if they go farther then that, maybe that could start... actually I have no idea when. Suggestions?))
Black ears twitched as the tip of his tail brushed over them, and a smile grew across her strong jaw, returning the grin he had given her. "Aww, c'mon! Buck up! Just think when we're out of here, well, after the seven days of not hunting for me, we'll be able to hunt and do all that again!" Her cheerful meow, while meant to cheer up Thade, had also worked on the she-cat. Suddenly, the world seemed brighter at the prospect of hunting, even if it wasn't for awhile. She could just see herself and Thade, bringing back the biggest batch of prey WindClan had ever seen! Shaking her head, the illusion dissapeared, and once again she saw the Medicine Cat's den, her friend, and sunlight streaming through the entrance. Emberresment began to heat her body even more, as Thade mentioned fetching water for her. "Oh! Umm, I don't need water, I mean." She could not deny it, the tom had already seen her pain. Eyes clearing, she mewed greatfully to her friend, "Thanks for the offer Thade, I'll be fine."

((No idea. We'll just start with them becoming inseperable friends and see where we want to go from there. Okay? By the way, do you think the seven days are up yet?))
Thade smiled, eyes soft as he looked at the feline in front of him. Black, like Kola. Green eyes, like Kola. The tom inwardly shook his head, when would he stop comparing every she-cat he saw with his sister? He had to admit, Shadepelt was more like his littermate than any other cat he'd met. The black cat was pretty too, in a deadly sort of way.
Thade looked around. "I think I might try walking," he mewed. The mottled tom slowly pushed himself up on his powerful forelegs. He raised his injured hindquarter slowly, then put it slowly on the floor of the den. He flinched, amber eyes clouding with unexpected pain. Resolutely, Thade took several steps forward. Apart from a heavy limp, the tom found he could cope quite well. He looked at Shadepelt, smiling, and meowed, "Look at me! I'm walking!"

((Okay! I would think they were up, I'll pm the person who's babysitting Marbleface to come and post here about letting them out of the den. I'll tell them the details.))
Glowing green eyes met amber orbs, the she-cat felt comfort in knowing that she could trust this cat, and that she had been there for him to talk to. A smile as warm as the sunlight drifted onto her black jaw, and velvety ears directed out to each side of the small, refined head in a relaxed manner.
Thade's quiet mew mustered up her attention, and shining emerald orbs shone with encoragment toward her friend. She almost leaped up to help him, dispite her own pains, when she saw the sudden wave of pain seep into his amber gaze. But as he meowed the words that said he was walking, she meowed out aloud her happiness. "Thade! You're walking! That's great!" The cheerful words soon changed into a rumbling purr, Shadepelt was glad more then ever that her friend was no longer completely handicapped.
Slowly, the warrior flexed the muscles in her forelegs, testing the pain level. The outward wince showed that there was still some pain, but not nearly as much as before. Lowering her hindquarters as low as possible, she pushed up quickly with her two injured legs. A quick, jarring wave of pain rushed through her body in a spasm, but was gone as soon as it had come. A large, toothy grin appeared on the otherwise serious face, and she meowed, "Well, I can sit! I'm not going to try walking until that bit of pain is gone." It was something she had planned to do, for the she-cat didn't want to injure her limbs even more by trying to walk.

((Okay, Thade is getting bored. )) Thade purred, but the rumble died away as the tom saw Shadepelt shift her weight, preparing to stand. The mottled tom took a step forward, wanting to stop the she-cat before she injure herself further. He stopped himself, Shadepelt could take care of herself. As he saw the black she-cat stand, Thade couldn't help purring in congratulations. "Yeah! Now we're both up and walking!" The tom looked around, swinging his massive head back and forth, "Now, where is Marbleface? I won't stay in this den any longer than I have too!" ((Sorry it's so short. My muse is gone *makes sad face* --- and I have writer's cramp. Lol.))

( First of all, I don't mean to be a cupid cat but your characters should become a couple. Their cute together. ^^ Second of all, create Kola, pleeeeease? This kitty's heart is begging you, I did cry over the story, it was so sad! Great stories, both of them. )
Marbleface entered his den slowly, his eyes grew very surprised when he saw both of the warriors standing. He knew how stubbornly independant the she-cat was and it worried him that she would be standing already but it had been a week. He quickly noticed Shadepelt's eyes held pain so he fetched a few poppy seeds from his herb pile and pawed them toward her, enough seeds to ease the pain of walking but not enough to make her too sleepy. His voice was stern in a tone that demanded no arguements. "Here, these will help the pain. Don't hunt or run yet, take it easy. You can leave the medicine cat den, just don't overdo it. You don't want you hurt yourself further. Alright?" His eyes stared into hers, he wanted to be sure she understood. He knew how badly she wanted to leave and he was giving her a chance to now if she wanted. He just wanted her to know for sure not to overdo herself in her eagerness to get back to her normal warrior duties. He nodded his head to the two of them, his eyes held a spark of kindness. "Congratulations on being able to stand, your both doing well it seems, you'll be back on the hunting trails soon enough, just for now, take it easy in the camp." He instructed. "Do you need any poppy seeds Thade?" The aging medicine cat asked.
( For the true owner of Marbleface, for when you read this, I hope it isn't too out of character! )

Head turning, the black warrior's heart skipped a beat as she saw Marbleface enter the den, Am I finally free? The bare thought made her tingle with excitment, and she had to strain her ears to hear the Medicine Cat over her racing heart. As the old tom gave the she-cat a pawful of poppy seeds, she obediently lapped them up, and began to crunch down on the pain releivers. Whipping her head up, glittering green orbs widened with happiness as she was told she could leave. She had to stop herself from leaping to her paws, and slowly sat up, then pushing up with her front legs, which she had to fight to get to stay straight. As Shadepelt took a few wobbling steps, she meowed reassuringly to Marbleface and Thade, "I'm fine, just not used to walking yet." Everything the healer said after she had walked was a blur, I'm walking! Nothing in the world seemed better then being free of her confinement, and she rolled her eyes good-heartedly as the white and black cat's mouth stopped moving. "Yes, yes Marbleface I'll remember!" Whipping her head over to Thade, she grinned widely, and meowed out a suggestion, "C'mon Thade! Let's go get some water, I'm scorched!" Bowing her head respectfully to the elderly tom, she gestured for Thade to follow with her long, silver-striped tail, as she padded as fast as she could toward the center of camp. So this is what freedom feels like.((Sorreh, crapish post! ))

(( lol No! I liked the post! ))
The medicine cat's whiskers twitched, half in amusement, half in annoyance. "Young cats these days, always got to be moving..." He grumbled to himself. He knew she wasn't going to listen to him, it was part of the warrior heart beating within her. She wouldn't being taking it easy, she'll be fighting it until she is completely back to normal self. The old cat had warned her and he would have poppy seeds ready when, not if, her legs became sore from overworking the newly mended legs, but he just couldn't find it within himself to be truely annoyed. A part of him was happy she had gotten her wish and was now free to move around. Might as well let her enjoy all that youthful energy while it lasts. He thought silently, shaking his head in amusement. The medicine cat turned back to his den and lapped up a few poppy seeds for himself, to ease the pain in his aging joints.

((Hmm. That's a good idea, Snowmark. Thanks for the thought! And sorry my bio for Thade made you cry, if that's what made you cry. If you even cried at all. Anyway, sorry I'm late.))
Thade looked up in surprise as the Medicine Cat entered. For such an old cat, he could pad quietly through the soft floor of the den. The mottled tom looked back and forth as Shadepelt and Marbleface conversed. Thade could tell that the black she-cat held no apparent regard for the advice being given by the kindly elder.
The mottled tom sighed in exasperation as Shadepelt limped out of the den, flicking her tail at him, clearly gesturing that he should follow. Amber eyes slightly amused, and slightly annoyed, Thade dipped his head respectfully to Marbleface.
Limping slightly, the muscular tom hurried after his friend.
((Maybe I will make Kola. I don't know. We'll see.))

[[Koolness! But, would she still be his sister, or just another cat? I'm confuzzled xP]]
The azure sky was a bright blue, like a new robin's egg. The sweet smelling air flowed into the she-cat's slightly opened mouth, and her lungs greedily sucked it all in. Surrounding grasses and bushes added a fresh hint to the breeze, and it ruffled the thick black pelt of the warrior. Even when she had only stepped several strides away from the Medicine Cat's den, Shadepelt felt free already. Remembering her filthy coat, she sat down slowly and cast long licks across her dusty fur.
In the middle of her grooming she stopped, for she was sure Thade was still behind her. Turning her head to look behind her, she saw him hurrying after her, and she purred with amusment. "Thade, I know you want to go run and hunt, so go for it! I still have seven more dawns to stay in camp, so don't waste all that time here, unless you want to that is." Sparkling orbs staring into his amber eyes, she drew a paw over a black ear, waiting for his answer.

((His sister))
Thade limped out into the sunlight, blinking as the bright light struck him unexpectedly. Squinching up his eyes, he looked over at Shadepelt. He blinked in confusion as he realized that she was speaking. Concentrating hard, Thade was able to get what she had been talking about.
"Oh, oh. That's okay." He mumbled, surprised, "I'm not in the best shape to go hunting or anything yet, anyway. Hawkstar wouldn't think much of a deputy who injures himself, goes out and breaks his leg again!" he joked.
((Sorry, poopy post. My muse is still gone!))
