Rippedbelly lead the two cats out of the forest, into camp and right into her den. She stood in front the den, letting Firen with Flintpelt go inside before she came inside behind them. Rippedbelly was surprised that the den was warm, the smell of faint cats who where in there before met her nose.
She gentle nudged herself in between the two cats, turning her head Rippedbelly looked at Firen. “I know you wish to help, but I’ll take over now.” Rippedbelly mewed sternly at the she-cat but she added gentle to the cat, angry by the voice of her own voice, “I don’t want you to exhaust yourself out and I’m sure that Flintpelt wouldn’t like you to hurt yourself any more. Sorry about trying to push you aside.” She apologized and looked at Flintpelt. He looked very tired, with his head lowered almost to the ground.
“Come on now; let’s get you back into your nest.” She mewed gentle to the tom. She waited to see if he would respond to her, after a few seconds she then glanced at Firen. An idea jumped in her mind. “You wish to help me? You know him better than me,” she mewed and slowly stepped aside. “I’ll be here to help you if you need any, try to get him into the nest.” she said with a flick of her thick tail to the mossy nest not far away.

Nope. Still the same. Look in the second paragraph, line one. You said that Firen looked up at you, though, since there was no post before this one [except on the last thread, but that was in the forest, not the camp], she couldn't have without you powerplaying.

((Ha ha! Whoa, you guys really went back and forth. I thought I wouldn't miss anything in the time it took me to find the thread. Apparently I was wrong.))
Firen looked at the Medicine Cat, and nodded. She shifted her weight, trying to make Flintpelt comfortable as he leaned on her ((at least, I think he still is? *scratches head*)). "Come on," she whispered in the tom's ear. Slowly, she led him to a nest lying on the dirt floor. The fiery she-cat hung her head, she was emotionally and physically drained. The maniac energy that had perpertrated (sp?) her limbs had vanished, leaving in it's wake agony and exhaustion. Crimson blood ran down her flanks in rivulets, dying her bright fur a deep red. Already, puddles of the thick red liquid were forming under her and Flintpelt's paws. The salty tang of the blood was already filling the air in the den, chasing away all strains of fresh air.
Firen took a shuddering breath, screwing up her nose at the smell. Her fur was clumped and matted together as the sticky blood oozed down her sides. The she-cat turned and licked Flintpelt's cheek. "Sleep well, Flintpelt," she murmured. "Don't forget to come back to me." Part of the she-cat was terrified that as soon as the tom fell asleep, he would leave her and her life's shine would disappear. But in her heart Firen knew that she and Flintpelt would still be together long after this event.
The she-cat stumbled and lurched over to another bed of moss. She sank down into it's comforting touch, closed her eyes, and drifted away.
((This is already pretty long, but just so you know, I'm going to give her a nightmare. About her kithood. I kind of thought that since no one knows much about her---including Flintpelt---I could give her a nightmare and she could jerk around and mumble things.))

((Nothin' much, though :3 I'll post now.))
Flintpelt felt Firen switching the weight to her other side as he continued leaning on her, and he began feeling a bit selfish for himself, seeing that all of this was draining the fiery she-cat from all of her new-found energy. He flicked his head to the side, reaching out with bright pink tongue to roughly rasp at the female's ear in an affectionate gesture, and gave a small jerk of his dark gray head to say he would come with her, not being able to nod because of a growing stiffness in his spine. He let himself be led to the comfortable green nest of moss and dead leaves, pads thumping against the ground painfully, jarring his muscles at every step. He flinched multiple times, though he desperately tried to hide his agony. He didn't want Firen to worry about him in addition to her being hurt. One paw settled down into the soft, dust-ridden sag in the dried-out plant of dark green hue, turning brown at the edges. Another paw followed, quickly taken up by two more, and then lithe, agile frame lowered and curled up into the groove inside the moss, ebony-eared cranium turning slightly to face his beloved. A flicker of warm affection glowed in his oculars as he gazed upon the female's flame-toned coat, glowing brightly inside the depths of both healthy green and cheery crimson orbs. He loved her. Never would he forget what she had done for him, who she had been in his pitiful life. An important role inside the mending of his heart. Even if she died, which he desperately hoped wouldn't happen, she would stay for ever and beyond in his memory, and he would search for her until he found a glimpse of her pelt through the leaves of StarCan's trees. It was an undieing memory, an immortal feeling of love, passion, and a soft, simple happiness. What bliss. What pure bliss. A rough purr echoed in his throat at the rough touch of his loved one's tongue upon his blood-streaked cheek, and died away as the she-cat turned around and walked off to another nest nearby. At least she was close to him. That was the main point. Onyx-hued ear twitched in exasperation from a trickle of blood obscurring his left lid, causing another flich of pain on his strained features. He needed to sleep, just like Firen was doing at that moment, sunk into the comfortable depression of the brittle plant. Closing his eyes softly, sending one last glance of adoration in the she-cat's direction, he drifted slowly into deep, peaceful sleep.

((I'll say it about mid-day and getting dark, my cat must be hungry after all that. So i'll head off to the fresh kill, don't worry i'll be back!)) Rippedbelly slowly followed the two as they made their way to the nest, she purred when Firen placed Flintpelt inside the same one he jumped out of before and slowly stumbled over into another one not far away. After they were in their nest, she when to work at once. Taking some ferns she cleanses out their wounds, large swaps of codsweds she placed on every wound. Both cats were sound asleep; their gentle breathing filled the den. After cleaning, and dressing them, Rippedbelly gathered up some poppy seeds, horsetails and garlic, placing them into a small pile. “I’ll get them to use theses after they had some rest,” she muttered gentle and nudged the pile with her nose to each nest. Then, looking them over one more time, she wandered off into her own nest, grooming the blood which she came in contact with off. With rough licks, Rippedbelly’s red with white fur until it gleamed; she lay quietly for a few minutes. A small growl came for her stomach; it was around mid-day and getting dark. “I should go get something to eat,” she mewed and glanced over to her charges, “They’ll be hungry as well after their rest.” Rippedbelly heaved herself on to her four paws, her bones felt like heavy wood, walked over to the den opening. After one last look behind, she trotted off to the fresh kill pile. I’ll just go get some food, eat it, get some more and bring it back. Then I’ll have a rest. She thought and hurried her pace.

Firen slept fitfully, dreaming, or having nightmares, take your pick.
Her father, Scarface, trotting home through a sunny, a limp vole in his jaws. Firen ran out to meet him, calling, "Daddy! Daddy, you're back!" He opened his jaws to call out something, fond affection in his eyes when suddenly the world was plunged into darkness.
Firen stumbled to a stop, confused. "Daddy, where are you?" she cried, looking for a familiar shape or smell. Pelts brushed by her, pricking at her fur. She didn't know who they were, but she knew they were evil. Suddenly, the moon came out, illuminating a spot in the clearing as bright as if it were day. Black, gray, silver, mottled cats were gathered around something, hissing and snarling at each other. Fierce eyes glared calculatingly out from furrowed brows, lips curled in a permanent sneer. Firen shrank away from them, waiting till they one by one vanished into the surrounding darkness.
She ran forward, trying to get a look at the thing they had surrounded. She looked at it and recoiled in horror. Her father lay on the blood-stained ground, the life ebbing away from him as his blood was sucked greedily up by the dry ground. Firen pawed at him, crying, "Daddy, don't go! Please stay!" Scarfaces' eyes cleared, and he looked up at his kit. "All will be well, my little Firen," he rasped. Tears dripped onto his fur, leaving dark lines on Firen's cheeks. "Please don't go Daddy!" she begged, "I'm afraid! I want you to stay with me!" Scarface mumbled, "We don't always get what we want, my kit. I love you," and with that, the brave tom gave up his spirit.
In sleep, Firen trembled, jerking. She whimpered, making small mewling noises, as in her dreams, a kit lost and afraid looked for someone to comfort it.
In her dreams, Firen ran at her mother. "Mommy, please stay!" she cried. "I don't want to lose you, too!" Redember turned and snarled at Firen, a strange light in her eyes. "Get away from me!" she hissed, "I don't know who you are, but you're not my kit or my mate! Go away! Shoo!" Firen opened her mouth to protest, but a hard blow sent her flying through the air. Hurt and bewilderment radiated in her eyes as she watched her mother slip into the shadows and disappear.
In the real world, the she-cat jerked and cried, "Mother!" then fell silent. Her pelt trembled as she took deep shuddering breaths in sleep, crying to herself. Unknown to her, her fitful dreams and cries were echoing softly throughout the den. But Firen was unaware of this and kept dreaming.
In her sleep, Firen saw a huge badger rising up, towering in front of her. Next to her, a familiar pelt shrank against her side. It was Niju. Firen pressed herself close to the ground, not moving. Her sister bolted, hackles bristling in alarm. The badger swung a stocky arm and caught the kit. Firen's eyes widened in horror as she yowled, "Niju! Noo!" Leaping to her feet, Firen ran blindly toward the badger. "Let her go! Let her go!" The badger turned, snarled and batted at her with a paw. It collided solidly with Firen's face, ripped through one of her ears, knocking her unconscious. When she woke up, Firen saw a sligth body lying in the middle of a glade, red drops of blood looking like drops of ruby dew on the fur.
Firen approached and saw her sister, Niju, now lying dead. Her jaws were locked in a soundless snarl, her eyes glared, but in that frozen anger there was terror. Firen bowed her head and whispered, "I'm sorry, Niju. I've failed you, and Papua. I'm sorry."
In the Medicine Cats Den, Firen twitched, mewing in a voice full of sadness and pain, "Niju! No! Papua, Papua, come back! Nooo!" She subsided into silence, broken only by slight thrashings and twitchings as she contineud her fitful slumber.

Even in his subconscious, the sleeping tom was able to feel Rippedbelly's experienced paws passing over his slim frame, cobwebs and ferns being pressed onto the worst of the wounds latticing his dark pelt. A faint purr rumbled roughly inside his throat, then he subsided into complete silence, disturbed only by the slight twitches of pain from bleeding gashes, or the irritable itch of healing. A peaceful expression had spread upon his marked features, elegant maw curved upwards in a quiet smile of contentment, whiskers splayed out like twin fans from his cheeks in a comical manner. Now, no more insults, no more blame was he pushing onto himself, repeating the words dolt, idiot, nincompoop inside his tired mind. He had just needed to find a purpose in this miserable life he had led, discover what he was here, in the forest, for, and it had come to him in the form of a purring, singing, spitting and hissing she-cat who made his heart beat faster in his chest, like a growing crescendo beaten upon a hollow log, and called to feelings hidden deep inside his battered soul, emotions he had never thought he would ever even touch, never mind possess or have them returned in his direction by that same feline. He was in harmony with himself, with his harsh past, and would forever defend this burning adoration that pumped through his veins at the mere thought of the fiery she-cat nearby, as well as its holder. Firen. Firen. A name like a bell of comfort and fights, but more beautiful than anything else he had ever witnessed in the waking world.
However, this peace did not last very long. It never did. That was his curse, his blessing, whatever you may call it, depending on your point of view. Darkness filled his dreams. Murky and cold, swirling around and around his confused frame, reaching out to touch his streaked pelt but backing away as soon as it neared him, as if it was scared of being hurt as it approached his aura. Where Firen had stood once in the front of his mind was now a lifeless lump of gray and brown fur, marked with black, laying there without a sound or movement to soothe this terror growing slowly inside the ashen tom's chest. He knew this tom. He knew him. His brother. And closer the gloom came, retreating, encircling, retreating again. Cranium flicked uneasily from side to side, hackles raised threateningly in fear, back arched gracefully in an upside-down smile, ebony ears thrown savagely backwards against the hind section of his skull in a menacing manner, intensifying his already obvious fear. But, whichever way the male turned his head, oculars kept themselves fixed pointedly to the still figure of the feline, his blood sibling, in front of him, blazing fire of crimson-orange and cool, flowing stream of blue-flecked green unwavering, forcing to notice the oozing blood pouring from fresh wounds cut into the tom's body, so similar to those Flintpelt now sported. A flicker of anger crossed the male's miscolored orbs, and the shadows backed farther away, as if they feared his rising temper. Finally, the gray tabby wrenched his gaze from the horrendous sight, instead staring deeply into the obscuring murk, intense eyes boring a tunnel straight into the darkness. Slightly surprised, the tom jerked back in shock at what he had just achieved, and the gloom took this small abatement of his fierce loathing to close in on the tunnel, shortening its breadth. Quickly, the barred tom stared again, cautiously padding forwards with quiet feet, and the entered the tunnel, driving into the obscurity with the overpowering force of one borne on by desperation. He had to get back to Firen. He had to. And nothing would stop him.

((Wowza! Incredible! Me lurve your post!))
Firen jerked, mumbling, "No! Dad--Mother! Ouch, stop hitting me Mother! Daddy, where are you? No! I . . . don't go, Mother!" She mewed feebly in her sleep and twitched, ducking a swiping paw in her dreams.
Paws twitching madly as they ran to escape a badger, Firen mumbled sleepily, "Ow! Stop poking me! Stoppit!"
In her dark dreams, cats from her Clan loomed up in front of her, grinning maliciously. Claws outstretched, they swiped at her coat, bit at her, spit at her, all the while laughing. Firen tried to run away, but her paws were rooted to the ground. She couldn't escape! She was trapped.
In the Medicine Cat's Den, the she-cat flinched, and cried in agony, all the while thrashing, "Aah! You made me . . . bleed . . ." she subsided into silence, broken only by slight twitches.

((Danke for the compliment :3 And right away! By the way, could ya shrink yer siggeh a bit? It's hoggin' the space xDDD))
Another step. Another step. No sound resonated across the tight hallway of shadow and gloom that surrounded the tabby tom, not the soft, nearly inaudible noise of pads against the cold floor below, nor the swift breathes escaping his chest in gasps of determination and anger. Stubborness born from the feeling that he had to reach the she-cat of his heart, that she was in danger, that she needed him, and fury from the fact that the murky, swirling mist tugging at the air around his lithe frame was trying to stop him getting to her, to halt his brisk walk, make him stop and never reach the one who had mended the broken love lodged in his chest. He could not let that happen. He would not. Whatever came, whatever happened, he would strive on until he saw her. Even a glimpse of her fiery pelt would send hope shooting back through his tiring limbs, a simple peek of twin golden orbs would make his regain the strength he had lost. And so he rushed on, silver paws hitting the ground hard to push him forwards ever faster, but never making the slightest noise. Not a sound disturbed the oppressive silence. Not a breath, not a whistle, not a tune nor the swish of fur. And yet, and yet.... he knew there was a feline out there, hiding in the dark, ready to escape the shadows and reveal themselves to his burning gaze. A sudden movement to his right caused him to slow for a moment, and the darkness closed in even more, nearly touching the tips of gray-black hairs, but still not daring to carress his form. He snorted in exasperation, pace becoming faster once again, ebony auditories flicking backwards on his cranium, though hardened oculars still searched the walls of the tunnel for more signs of life other than his own. A whisp of fog swirled outwards, twisting and curling like a cat's breath on a No-leaf sunrise, surprising him slightly. He jerked forwards again, getting infuriatingly angry by this pressing feeling in his mind of being watched, but not being able to see the watcher. He bardged on, pushing his way through the ever-tightening passage, slim frame slipping easily through the encasing corners of the dark hallway. One more step, and he was out. The gloom that had once filled his vision was now replaced by luminescent lighting, assaulting his wide pupils, and he hissed in pain as the light pierced through his eyes. Quickly descending both lids downwards over irises of blazing hues and cool moss green, the tom waited a few seconds for the sparkling dots to disappear from his sight, ears pricked in wariness to make sure no cat would approach him in this moment of crisis, even though he knew the lack of sound would make him unable to sense the presence until it was upon him. Muscles tensed, painful wounds prickling uncomfortably at the sudden change of pressure upon tight sinew, and the male's eyes flew open, ready to detect any sign of aggressive behavior from an opposing feline of his own imagining. But nothing met his tired, burning, desperate gaze except for the sight of a lone she-cat, sitting quietly in the middle of a large clearing of brilliant illumination. All around was a wide circlet of dark, reaching shadows, though it seemed as if they were not able to pass the limit that the female in front of him was creating. About three tail-lengths from her muscular frame, all darkness stopped, leaving a way for a bright light even whiter than the purest of snows. His curiosity pricked, and all cautiousness subsiding to nothing [why would any feline surrounded by light and with such a peaceful expression upon her face ever want to attack him?], he took a step forwards, skull tipped to the side in a questioning gesture. In answer, the female twitched her tail towards herself, as if telling him to come to her, cocking her own cranium in a mimic of the barred male's action. Flintpelt obediently advanced again, not really taking notice of the fact that his pads now created sound upon the ivory ground, padding on until he stood just in front of the she-cat. He knew her from somewhere. Her face, the way she held herself in such a proud and defensive stance, the tip of her ears placed upon the upper section of her cranium. In her, he seemed to see a part of himself. And then her name came, almost naturally, echoing with a slightly bell-like ring inside the confines of his mind. Ziggu. "You know my name, young one. And I know yours." Her voice was deep, practically masculine, but had a lighter intensity inside its depths that betrayed her gender. Twin orbs of bright crimson blinked amiably, and a smile spread upon her features. Flintpelt felt all tensity leave his muscles as he gazed upon the quiet figure of this female who he knew somewhere far in his mind. Not in memory, but in the farthest cracks of his soul, a part of himself from long ago. He smiled back, and sat down himself, lithe tail curling up around platinum forepaws, as the one named Ziggu examined him from head to toe, vermilion oculars drifting over his feminine frame and the thick muscle lining his limbs. "You are stronger than you could have been destined to be, Flintpelt. Such a harsh past... but I will not talk about it. Stories of gone events are for later. Now, you have a mission. Go find your loved one, my nephew." The tom nodded swiftly, whiskers bobbing up and down gracefully instead of making him look comical, and he jumped to his feet, mellow voice echoing throughout the peaceful clearing before he finally stepped away and entered the darkness once again, searching for that beautiful she-cat who had stolen his heart. "Yes, my aunt. I shall."
