Well, this is where I sit vigil (reading my post over and over again) when I have nothing better to do. I grieve for my WCV2 cats (see siggy), for I will never see them again. Anyway, since I am SOOOOOOO bored, I am going to write some poetry.
Mine
The wind through the mast The sun's gleam in my eye The thought of the beauty And the love of the sea
My mother's nursery rhymes from many a year ago still echo within My memory
The salty sea air blowing on my brow the baby blue sky overhead the beautiful day and the mysterious night have returned once again
I look at the night sky my very own one that brings me to wonder the star-shining Silverpelt brings me home
My home one that no other can take For they not knoweth the road through the forest and over the river all the way home again
My memories my sunken ship my buried treasure to find Every day is a sack full of gold of friendship and sacrifice
to gain, you must give and repeat it again like the cycle of the moon and the sun
live to learn and learn to live be grateful for who you are
This is my poem one that I have written and read so many a time
It reminds me of childhood which I still grasp though that salty sea air blows it away
with every year and every day every moon and every sun I feel the childhood My childhood of carelessness and teh freedom to play sifting away through the sands of time
until all that is left is the footprints that have been washed away from my beach and my shore from my memories.
rate it 1-10. I will probably post more.

oop! Here it is- With Blinding light like snow so white and the star that continuously shines A darknened night black as tar like the burnt remains of fire flames that spring like red ribbon and smoke that never ends A spring flower yellow as the sun bringing light and joy The clouds slowly pass by the baby blue sky and I sit here in the grass The grass and the green emerald trees are like mother nature speaking for herself The colors of the rainbow never seem to end from the blinding snow to the blackest night to the baby blue sky to the greenest forest from the earth to the cosmos the rainbow never ends. jeeze that one sucked.

another poem spilled out-
Streatching through the darkness in the shadows I do find the sliver of light of hope and of joy in this stormy cave of shadows
Through the toughest gale bring on Mother Nature whatever is in store the winds howling the rain beating down upon my back the storm continues on
Lightning flashes across the sky in a fury of light and dark the black night pelt of the heavens above shines bright from the glowing streams
Thunder claps above my head and it rumbles forever on the longest night seems to never end as I race for the shelter
Hiding under the old maple tree and nearby the oak, my shadow lurks and my soul waits as the thunder moves on
A flash of lightning streaks the sky but too soon and too close
It started out small like all fires do and the red flames continued to grow
despite the thunder and the lightning and the rain the fire constantly spread
The heat was intense my brain never worked my thoughts so unreadable like fog the red flames lapping up against my shoes until I ran bolting for the door
Locked out of my own domain, there was nothing left until the rain ended and the sun peaked out from the clouds
the baby blue sky and the warm summer air wind blowing away the smoke so I could see the sky
the ground in ashes and hte old oak tree with the maple so dead yet alive
It still thrived on even though the storm was over as I stared at it's scorched surface
This is our friendship I am I and you the storm, contiue burning, the trees my soul, to the scorched bark I am now.
leave me. let me be. I am the tree the lightning the thunder the fire the grass the locked door nothing left nothing there give up. your done. I won.
The last leaf bud teh only survivor peaked out from the tree's tip.
